Any amount or duration is normal. This is absolutely nothing to worry about! And no, there's nothing you can really do....however, sometimes, if it gets uncomfortable for you, you may gently place a hand on one side of your tummy and give a gentle push...sometimes this will help. Good luck.

Sorry...there is nothing you can do. I sympathize with you though! I am 36 weeks along and my daughter has the hiccups severl times a day and sometimes they last for up to an hour! I can tell that it is just as frustrating for her because she will become very restless. The worst ones are right before you are about to go to sleep!
It is a good sign though...it means that her lungs are developing, her nerves are reacting and in fact, if you were ever to undergo a fetal stress test...you recieve points for hiccups. They are a good thing! Maybe a little annoying, but just remember that it is a sign that you are carrying a healthy baby!
Good luck and Congrats!

Hiccups are very normal and I have never been told that there is a certain amount of them that the baby should or should not be having. They can really drive you crazy especially when you want to sleep. Unfortunately I have never been told of a cure and I just had to endure them until I gave birth. She still gets hiccups often!

There is not much you can do. I was told that it is sometimes caused by eating to fast. Maybe slow down a little bit? My baby had the hiccups all the time while I was pregnant. They lasted long too. It was kinda annoying for me yes, but I was thankful when he had them, it let me know that he was still alive and okay! Good luck to you. Enjoy it while you can it goes by fast!
