I am 32 weeks pregnant with my second child. It' been 7 years since I had my first- so forgive me for being a bit "rusty". Anyways, with my frist daughter I remember losing my mucus plug all at once- I wiped and BAM there was a whole huge (and by huge i mean- well i dont exactly remember it was a bit smaller than a golf ball- but there was def a lot) blob of mucus. Last night I had 3 "mild" contractions and this monrning when I wiped- there was a small (by small i mean about the amount if you had blown your nose) amount of mucus on the toilette paper. This also happened on two seperate days last week. Are these just small amounts of my mucus plug?

*** I have my weekly appointment on Friday and do plan on mentioning it to my Dr then. I do remember with my first I lost my plug early (35 weeks) and I still went to 42 weeks! =)

From the time I was 34 weeks pregnant with my daughter till the day I delivered her (at 38wk/6d) I was loosing pieces of my plug like that all day long. It regenerates itself throughout your pregnancy until your body is ready for labor, so its possible to be loosing pieces like that this early. Towards the end the clumps became larger for me and had a little bloody show with them.

Yes it sounds like you are starting to lose the mucus plug slowly. But you know the routine your not in labor until your 4 centimeters dialated. Congrats.
