My 6 year old son has mild PDD. His potty training wasn't too hard but keep in mind he is mild. He was trained during the day at age 3 but took to age 5 to train overnight. The best thing is positive reinforcement. I would pump him full of juice during the day and and take him to the potty every 30 min. We would sit in there and play with his little toys or read books for awhile. Everytime he went we would do the "happy dance" and he would get one m&m. Eventually he caught on because he wanted an m&m! Of course there were accidents but consistency is the key. Since he has PDD I would keep a chart in the potty and everytime he went he can put a sticker on the chart. At the end of the week if he has so many stickers (you set the amount as to what you think is fair for him) then he can be rewarded with a special treat (toy from the dollar store, a trip out for ice cream, etc). Try to keep a consistent routine and good luck!
