if anyone can be bothered, I've already asked this question last week but now it's too late for me to chose my best answer please check out the answers and vote....I like answers 2 or 4 to win...please go and vote for the best answer....I just want to add to those that responded, my son is a handful, but I agree with my husband, boarding school has to be a last resort and we aren't there yet...espeacially if he isn't keen to go!!! I don't want him to feel that he's unwanted, I'm tryng to think of whats best for him...I have more of keen idea of boarding school because I had a positive experiencel during my tween yrs and it was one of the best periods of my life..Every child is different, with different reasons for why they are there...maybe it was best for me, but like some people have mentioned ...not for some kids.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and my doctor said that i have an aging placenta and now i have to take a weekly non-stress test. what does all of this mean this is my first baby???

He's 11 and he has no manners, he's direspectful to me at home and in public, tries to beat up his brother all the time who is 13, and doesn't get along with his stepfather at all. I have tried to discipline my children with postiive parenting ways and traditional ways but nothing works. I've put him in counseling-didn't work. I've had to call the law on him because he has hit me before.I grew up respecting my parents or I would get the $$$ beat out of me. He refuses to do anything I ask him to without a hassel. He wants to live with his real dad but he's a bad influence on him and I would have to give up custody of him. I can't bring myself to do it. Plus I can't afford child support. I go to school full time plus trying to keep up with homework, studying and raising my 2 boys. I don't know what else to do -family counseling didn't help either. I'm lost and all I get is feeling guilty. I've tried to raise my boy's right and nothing seems to work.

My husband is a commercial diver and works offshore. He is gone from 4-8 weeks at a time and is only home for about 2 weeks when he gets to come in. My son gets really exited when daddy comes home. But when he leaves out again he is really sad for days. He's too young to understand that daddy has to be away because that is his job. How do I make it easier on him. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Ok, so I am 30 weeks and due at the end of Feb with my first. We just moved pretty far away from family and friends and I dont have any friends here yet. I have asked what to do before and I had my husband talk to his family and so far no one is doing anything for me. My family is not going to be able to do anything either and no one is going to make a trip out here for a baby shower and I have no one here to plan one. I don't want to be greedy but we cant afford to get all the stuff we need. I have kind of stayed back in the shadows and not asked for anything from anyone and made my pregnancy a big deal. I let everyone else in my family and my husbands enjoy the lime light. I am going to plan on having the invitation date for the begining of Feb. So would it be rude to put the invitations to the shower that no one will show up for, in with Christmas cards and list where I am registered?

I'm 24 weeks preg. on my left groin area I feel like I have a pinched nerve or something like it with pain shooting down the front part of my leg. Now i'm also feeling it on the other side too...anyone think is just the round ligaments...or a nerve....if it is a nerve, is it common?

So im sure youve read some of my questions, about how ive taken 2 negative pregnancy tests and my period was late, and i had sore nipples and blah blah blah. Well, today my nipples weren't that sore and-thank god- my period started. Now im worrying that im one of thise women who has their period while they're pregnant! that's not very likely, is it? Should i get one more test in 2 weeks just to be sure?

My 2 1/2 year old daughter is very smart, but she refuses to go to the bathroom. She's very attached to wearing diapers, doesn't even like pull ups. Today I put her on the potty and she screamed for 20 minutes, even after I took her off. I have tried bribeing, stickers, painting her nails, etc.... nothing works. Help please!

hes 15 and lately hes been acting very diffrent. he used to wear baggy/hiphop type clothes but now he wears tight fittining clothes, he always seems sad, hes grades r going down and ive walked in on him making out with this other boy. but he claims tht he isnt gay/bi even when told him tht it was ok.

Okay I ovulated wednesday the 6th of this month...so when do i test? because it wouldn't make sense really to test next week because then if i was pregnant id only be like 2 half weeks and that doesnt show up on a urine test only on a blood test right?

hello , my friend daughter do babysitting. and i have asked her to babysit my kids this coming weekend for 4 hours ....
but when i asked her how much she charge? she told me what ever i want to pay her is fine by her!
this is so nice of her to tell me this.. but i want to be fair with her, and i want her to be happy .so when next time i ask her to babysit my kids she will be happy to come.
we live in Canada. does anyone knows how much normally people charge the babysitter for 3 kids?
