We all have to go through it as women, it's seems scary at first but it 's really not. In the long run you'll realize that it's not scary and you'll be glad you did it for your health. Just be calm when you go in there and you'll be surprised how quick it's over.

I knew that you couldn't have been over 15. First off you shoudln't be having sex at this age....you are just a kid......and you'll have plenty of time for that in the future....I don't know if you have low self esteem of what but .... dont let guys take advantage of you. You are better than that and let them know it. They don't really care what happens to you and they just want to get off. I am going through this with my 15 year old sister who is going buck wild. 13 though....WOW....what is this world coming to. Really in a nice way....please stop before you get a reputation, an STD, or pregnant. If you get certain STD;s you can DIE!! or lose your abilitty to EVER have children. Do you really want that. No guy is worth that....and if he is a serious boyfriend...then make him wait.....tell him " if you love me ....you'll wait"...if he doesn't respect that...then he doesn't care about you and if he doesn't....do you really think he'll stick around if you get pregnant....the answer is a Definate NO........
and about the pap smear...its not bad at all......it feels weird the first time but it doesn't hurt...just is weird and uncomfortable. But it helps tell if you have STD's or cancer or anything wrong.....I 'd suggest getting the vaccine for HPV.....tell the doctor...he/she will know about it. It will protect you from a certain STD that can cause cancer or warts....and dont' think that just because you don't see anything wrong with his thing.....that its not there ....because it can definatly be there and no symptoms showing.

It really is akward the first time but hey you get over it EVERY girl gets them done its another one of those facts of life and you know you got to look at it like this the dr well thats his or her job they look at 100-200 cuchies a every week or two so to them its nothing its like asking a menchanic to change a tire or a cashier to ring up your stuff sometimes al you have to do to conquer a fear is to do it .talk to ur mom after all she is a girl and was probally in the same shoes at one point in her life

Get over your fear, because without pap smears you can damage your female organs if you were to have an infection or an std or something. Think about your life.

OK the best thing you can do is follow your mind do what you think would best the best.Of course you may feel scared of strangers looking at your vagina that is normal,if you feel its important and it needs to be done you should do it.

You really don't need a pap smear until you become sexually active. If you're sexually active at 13, you need more than a pap smear...you need your head checked!

You seriously need to speak with your parents and first LEARN about sex and then see a gynecologist. You asked before if you can get pregnant by SWALLOWING SPERM. Please seek an education along with that birth control.

Dont be afraid. I am a guy and I get them. The doctor thinks I am brave. He said that if I get them everyone should. I love them. I get them 3 times a day at times.
