You have to be sick of hearing these questions, so Im ready for smart comments, but to the adults that know...... My LH surge was detected on 12-10....... I hear about the sticky white discharge when you ovulate...... What does it mean if its like a watery white...... We did it on 12-9, 12-12,........Does it sound like I missed it ? I feel cramps (light cramps on my left side) My period isn't due for 1 1/2 -2 weeks........To the women that check the discharge for ovulation period, do you ever see a watery white ? And if so, did you get pregnant ?

The mucus you have when you are ovulating is not sticky white--that's infertile mucus. Fertile mucus is like raw eggwhites--stretchy, slimey, and clear (sometimes with a tinge of white or pink). With pos. lh surge on 12-10 you could expect to ovulate the 11th or 12th. Intercourse on the 9th and 12th gives you a pretty fair chance at conception. Just remember, the average couple only has about a 20% chance each cycle so don't get discouraged if it doesn't work this month. Hope you get a BFP for Christmas!!!
