ok i am 33 wks pregnant ive had 2 kids and with them my mucus plug came out all at once. but last week i had this stringy snot looking stuff come out but not alot. then last night i had the same. i have heard that the mucus plug can come out in pieces or all at once. my question is how ever is there any other reasons for me to have thick discharge like this? i now i dont have any infections or stds. so is this discharge just part of my mucus plug? and thank you to who ever awnsers my question

sounds like your plug to me. I never had mine come out all at once either. I had a bit heavier discharge near the end with my first, and I didn't have any with my second.
You still have a couple weeks left to go so I hope you're little one is staying in there, at least a little while longer! good luck!

Sounds like your plug. You have ruled out infections and STD's so other than the normal increase of discharge a pregnant woman gets the only other thing left would be the mucus plug.
Try not to freak out...doesn't mean you are going into labor right away. Just means your cervix is readying itself for labor. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned.

its the icky plug....LOL....my friend had hers come out in pieces, and had thick icky discharge for a while. i'd still call the doctor, just in case...better safe than going into labor earlier than you want to!

Highly Possible... call your OB Right away 33 weeks is still early! Time means everything when it comes to PTL so dont wait Call Right Now!!!
