Is there anyways to make an irregular period regular without going on birth control??

Hi, actually you need to bring this up with your OB/GYN as there are a few options other than BC. However all are prescriptions and what you can & can not use varies depending upon the reason you are having irregular periods which your OB will want to find out first. (dr.) Yes, you can do three things. Change your water intake... make sure you drink the majority amount six hours before you go to bed. Change your diet.....women are intaking many more toxins than they have in the past, be aware of what you're eating as this is causing much irregularity with many women. Mercury and lead are the leading causes. Thirdly, exercise will help you along with yogo in relieving your stress....stress can promote inhibitors in your body which allow for normality in both lung activity and bloodflow. good luck, Jack

if you dont want to take pills, and your periods arent irregular because of something serious, i'd try changing your diet a little, (eating healthy) and getting on a good sleep pattern. i know, when my period gets irregular, its because i stop eating right, and my sleep schedule gets thrown off. your body is like a clock, and a good routine will help keep it on track

It all depends on why it is irregular, but Metformin or Provera work for some conditions.
