Pregnancy & Parenting - 5 December 2006

I am 8 months pregnant and I'm EXHAUSTED! I work M-F 8 hours each day on my feet. My manager is HORRIBLE! He has always been sexist and he still has me putting away shipment-this includes constant bending down and picking up things of various weights and I cant take it! I tried to say something but he just says 'take your time' but then when i do he just gives me 10 other things to do and acts like I am lazy! I dont know what to do! Should I just tough it out until I am on leave? How bad is stress on the baby exactly? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

What can I keep on hand as back up in case we run out of milk for the one year old? Some canned or powdered?? We hating running out for a gallon of milk (don't get me wrong, anything for my baby) but if there is something as back up for emergancies???

I have to go in tomorrow for the doctors to turn my baby. They said there is a chance my water could break. If my water does break will they rush me in for a c-section and put me to sleep, or will I have time to a spinal before they take me in for a c- section... my baby is breech.

thank you for the few who understud what i was trying to say! for those who don't, i'm posting more info. so you might get it unstead of cutting me down! my kids school dose paddle w/ a wooden paddle!! i live in alabama! they pull tickets first! if they puli 4, they get 3 swats! my 6 year old has pulled many tickets for not writing some thing correctly! she has never been paddled, but i can't help but fear she may some day for somthing so stupid!! i don't beat my kids and i AM educated, but was very upset w/ people on her who seem to cut me down by calling rude things and such! please feel free to get in my profile and check out the first 2 questions on paddling in school and THEN answer!! thank you!!!! p.s my spell check is not working correctly!

Specifically, the "safe 'n easy" shopping cart cover. It looks like it could also go over a restaurant high chair; can it? I am limited to Target.com because I have an e-card that I have to use on there. I don't want to buy a separate cover for high chairs and shopping carts, but I will if I have to... what do you reccommend???

my aunt is @ the hospital right now and is expecting 2 have a little baby girl!!!!!the little baby girl has a brother that is 5 days older than her!his name ricardo.so ricardo was born on thursday of last week @ exactly 11:09.now shes @ the hospital and going 2 have a little baby girl in maybe 6 to 9 hours(the doctor said).the doctor said that they are twins.but my aunt gave me a list of names that shes maybe going 2 put on the baby.the names r :
katelyn,lily,melissa,melony,zaruela,lizzie,tatiana,rose,patricia,bianca,daniela,hellin,haley,paulina,shalina or the 1 dat my sister likes (but I dont):daphne.

Our first's name is Alyson Emily and we call her Aly

My wife and I like short nicknames like Aly so ideally the second would have a similar nickname

I like Abby and Gaby but I still would like a more traditional name rather than giving the baby a nick name as her name.

Was I in the wrong to get rid of the dog?
We have three cats, a lab and a chincilla not to mention fish. We live in a double wide trailer in a trailer park. We have two children 5 yr and 3 mon. My mom lives her with us. That makes a total of five people and 5 animals. I run a daycare during the day. With five children in it. They are here from 7-5 every day m-f. I work third shift three days a week. First shift saturday. Plus go to college full time two days a week. My fiance doesn't do anything. He just got a new job doing snow plowing but it hasn't snowed yet. I pay all the bills and provide everything for the children. My mom watches our children while i work and go to school and the daycare kids too. She takes our daughter to school in the morning and picks her up too. Even though her dad has nothing to do he doesn't do it. He usually leaves making up something to do. And is gone 75 percent of the time. Doing what ever. And yesterday he brought home a puppy. He didn't ask me if I wanted one. He just brought it here ...

Some family members of mine were talking about how good my baby is and I overheard someone say, "Well, she's appears good because every time she even squeeks, Mandy jumps." She said it in a pretty condescending way. I thought I was being a good mommy by tending to my baby's needs quickly. Am I in the wrong? Should I allow her to "self soothe?"

I asked my grandma the same question (she had 8 children) and she said, "Well, she's a good baby, so you must be doing something right."

What do you think? I'm confused.

What are the chances that I could get pregnant ??? I know that there is no clear answers and such but the whole timing your sex with your CM is still alittle confusing to me. Should you wait until you see the EWCM before having intercourse for the best chances or do I still have a chance if I have intercourse the night before noticing the EWCM????

NEVER stops talking, does innappropriate things (such as the middle finger and holding his privates and peeing in cups) ... I don't understand how he got that way. At school his teacher complains all the time about how he talks all the time and never follows directions and is a slow worker. At home he swears at his sister, then lies to us about it. Is this the parents fault? How can we change it. How do you punish that kind of action?

MY BOYFRIEND HAS A 2 YEAR OLD AND SHE STILL HAS A PACIFIER AND WONT GIVE IT UP. HE THINKS BECAUSE HER MOM WILL LET HER HAVE IT WHEN SHE IS WITH HER THAT HE HAS TO DO THE SAME IN STEAD OF HAVING HIS OWN RULES WHEN SHE IS WITH HIM. I stopped my birth control pills exactly a week ago today and since I have stopped I have felt bloated and tired and having an upset stomach and having hot flashes. Is this normal cause me and my husband decided to try and start to concieve but a week off the pill would be to early to even have any symptoms of concieveing and pregnant yet.

How do you know when your little one is ready to start going to one a day naps? How old was your little one when they started this? How long did it take you to convert?

My little girl is 8 months old. (a little young I know...) but it seems like she is ready. She is not really wanting to nap in the morning and then IF she does its only for about 30 minutes. Then in the afternoon ... it seems to be later then normal around 2 ish and can be up to an hour and half. Does it sound like she is ready to start moving to one a day? UGH!! Babies!! So darn cute but I have no idea what I am doing!! lol
