AM CURRENTLY 9 WEEKS PREGNANT. I AM GETTING MARRIED ON DECEMBER 29, 2006. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I AM ABLE TO FIND OUT THE SEX OF THE BABY BY THE WEDDING, I WANT TO SURPRISE THE FATHER ON THE WEDDING DAY.

Hey everybody i thought that i should explain thisa little better so here it is...
i need to know is it possible to get pregnant without haveing your period for 2months? i stop takeing the bc pills in oct. and my period didn't come back that month or last sunday and i know i wasn't pregnant then for a fact. the only time we had sex since aug. was on Nov 30th and dec.1 i know he did finish inside me so i need to know is it possible to get pregnant if i havn't had my period for 2months? i go to the doctor on Dec. 11 but, will that be to early to get a test done? if i am its ok because we do want a baby so please no rude comments, thank you all ahead of time

I smoked weed one day with my friends and I didnt know I was pregnant but i found out later I was about 2 weeks when I smoked. will my baby be ok?

I ask this because I saw a woman lighting up a cigarette for her teenage daughter, and they were hanging out like old pals.

I say this because of the women I see who baby talk their two-year olds or bribe them to be good...

Is it really that important to some parents that their kids like them when they get older than trying to shape a child or teenager into a respectable adult?

Listening to your kids is one thing, but actually going out of your way to FIT IN with them is something else, in my opinion (the lady smoking with her 16 year old daughter INFURIATED me).

What are your views on this?

I saw a response to a breastfeeding question stating that over 6 months was too old for breastfeeding in this person's opinion. These children are 4 years and 7 months old. What would have happened to them if mom decided that 6 months was 'good enough'?

I mean actively playing or doing something with them, not just saying 'yes thats lovely' while playing on the computer or doing the washing up!
I mean solely concentration on the child.
I'm talking mainly about toddlers aged 1 - 2

Can anyone give me any suggestions on what I can do to sooth his gums? I tried the washcloth and he screams. Only thing I found is having my finger in his mouth putting pressure on his gum but I cant do that 9 hours of the day. Yes he is teething confirmed by the doctor. The doctor tells me to let him cry it out hes too young for anbesol.

Just heard the heart tones and my doc said they're 144 beats per minute..so he said he thinks it's a girl. Anybody else want to share if their baby's heartrate matched what sex they were. (140 and under is supposed to be a boy, 141 and up is a girl.)

I handled it quite well, for I was in total shock. My daughter and I have discussed many times sex, drugs, etc. Her boyfriend and her have been dating for three years. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY OR DO!!!! Abortion is out of the question! I feel like I failed somewhere as a FATHER - yep, her father. Of course, I had "great plans" lined up for her - school, college, etc. I feel as if I have been betrayed and have lost all trust in her. Please advise. I love her dearly and I'm certain I'm not ready for my little girl to be a mother!

More info: Im not certain, but I was told once that her boyfriend hit her. Of course, she denied it, and so did he. She did admit that he pushed her once. I know she loves this boy (who graduates from high school this year and has no plans of going to college). Her mother acts as if "oh well, what's done is done." I'm sorry I don't have the same attitude as her mother (we are divorced - 10 years now - but live next door to one another). HELP!

Okay, here goes... I was about a month pregnant, but then I started bleeding heavily and then it stopped. I went to see a nurse and she told me that it was a miscarriage. But I still have several symptoms like morning sickness, dizziness, breast tenderness, frequent urination, etc. Is it possible that I'm still pregnant even after this happened? Is it possible to be carrying twins and have only one miscarry and still have the other one?

Recently my daughter has had a very stubborn cold. It has lasted about 3 weeks now and consists of sore throat, cough, and loose stools. She was running a fever although not very high. It was usually around 100.3 and 100.5. Now today she woke up and told me she couldn't talk right cuz she had sores. She now has a sore in the crack of her lips and 2 on her tounge. I figured this def requires a call into her pediatrician. Low and behold can't get ahold of her pediatrician. (this is how it usually is with this Dr. we are in the process of finding another) So low and behold they put me on with a nurse who said it will probably be fine just giving her tylenol for pain and it should soon go away. Do any of u have any view on this? Do u think this warrants a call into the Dr. to see if this is anything more serious? * Don't know if this has anything to do with it but we also have 2 other children at home that are sick with the wet cough and sore throat*

My baby is 3 months old now. His alert time is between 12 and 4 am. Then he sleeps and wakes up at 3 pm (waking in between that time for feeds only). Then he wakes up and sleeps rotating 0.5 to 1 hour until about 8 or 9 and sleeps until the schedule starts again. Any suggestions on how i can make him switch so that his alert time is in the morning?

Im on the pill but been having a bit trouble with it lately. I came on a week early while still on my pill then had my pill free week and was still on - 2 weeks in total. I had sex on the friday i was off and then started my pill the nxt day, is it possible to be pregnant?

I and my husband is satisfied with only one child but all my well wishers including my parents my sister my friends say I should have another baby bcoz family is not complete without 2 children.I have another issue that as both my parents are obese I have a great tedency to put on wt. After the birth ofmy son I put on about 35-40 pounds which I lost with a lot of strruggle.I do not want to go through the same process. For me looking good is most important. But at the same time I also know that beauty withers with time and once I cross certain age I may repent of not having another child . right now I am 33. my son is 5. Pls friends suggest me.

I have been breastfeeding my son for 9 months and I am still taking prescription vitamins. I usually NEVER get sick, but this year I have had 4 colds! Can that be bacuse I'm breastfeeding? Does anyone know anything to help prevent a cold?
