iv been trying to get pergnant for awhile i was wondering if there was anything i can buy from the chemist or supermarket that might help without going to the doctor!

We have tried everything we can think of to try and get her to sleep for longer periods at night.
She has 5 ozs before having her nice relaxing bath, she then takes another 4 ozs.
She goes down about 8.30 and will be awake again about an hour later. This will go on all night, she just cant seem to settle into a sound sleep.
We have tried putting baby rice in her bottle, trying her with a dummy, keeping her up a little later at night, keeping her awake all day, making sure she is active all day, putting a pillow in her cot, giving her nurofen before sleeping, bringing her into our bed, massaging her after her bath, putting lavender drops onto her pillow, giving her a dream feed, etc etc.
So if anyone has any more suggestions they would be more than welcome

My cousin just gave birth to a set of twins yesterday...a boy and a girl. They are both so cute. She already has the first names for her children. Somehow, she wanted the middle name to be the same cuz they are twins.

Any suggestion? I was thinking of Madison.

Sorry I didn't make it too clear in 1st question... It's been 41 days since the 1st day of my last period. It's usually around 32/33 days. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months now. We did have sex on the days I was to ovulate. But I took 2 Accurate (cheaper) tests, and 1 First Response test at home and they were all negative... With my first 2 children, as soon as I missed a day of my period I took the test and it was positive...Am I just Hoping to be pregnant to much????Or is there a chance I could be pregnant????

hello everyone well...i have a question...i stopped taking the pill about 1 month a go (i was only on it for a month aswell) and i had my "period" on the 2nd november...and finshed on the 6th so i throught i must be on 32 days cycle so i had sex on 14th and 15th and more days around there ( so i must been ovulatin on 16th0 well yesterday i supposed to come on my period but i haven't yet and i dnt feel like its coming at all and i feel weird could i be preggy? or just the pill

I have this assumption in my head that if you don't tear when giving birth you will have this stretched out gaping hole forever. I know that if you tear the doctor will stitch you up and most of the time give you an extra stitch or two known as the "daddy stitch" but if you aren't stitched up what is it like after?

I am 39.5 weeks pregnant. ok i have been having contractions for 3 days non stop. they are only painful at night. The painfull ones start around 8 30 pm at night and start at around 30 mins apart and get down to 4 mins apart by around 4 am in the morning then the pain subsides.I also get these real bad stabbing pains in my vagina while i get the bad contractions. I feel my stomache tighten up and go a weird shape and then i get a real bad period type pain and it lasts around 80 seconds. I only get a few bad ones during the day all the rest are painless but i can still feel my tummy tighten. i was just wondering has anyone else gone through this with a previous pregnancy and how long did it go on untill you had your bub? please dont tell me to go to the hospital as i live in australia and i have called the hospital already and they tell you to come in when they are constant and at 4 mins apart and the pain is severe. They wont admit you until you are 4 cm dialated here. thanks

K so I have this 8 year old daugter and she is like ttl out of control! She has been on a tantrum now for more than 2 months STRAIT. Every morning i come in her room and see that she has pooped and peed her bed and when I whale on her she throws the poop at the walls and rubs in on my face. she has cut up all my firnuture with her knife and when i ask her if I can have her knife she yells no and tries to cut me!! she steals from every store in town and nobody will play with her because she stinks (I dont belive in baths) and because she cuts the other kids up pretty bad with her knife. She refuses to eat anything but m and ms and she always makes me take out the yellow and the brown ones before I give them to her. I once tried to give her something healthy (a mcfeast) and she threw it out the window. She scribbles all over the walls with her crayons (she too dumb to know how to write real words) and screams and makes herself puke for no reason. She is homeschooled. What should I do?

K so anyway I kinda forgot to talk 2 my son when he wuz yunger becoz it was easier to put him in front of TV and watch cartoons lol but when he wuz about 5 years old i started telling him words like hi bye and stuff. But I have real bad patince lol and if he don't get it right away i quit and get mad. Now hes 9 and he STILL can't say much only "i want food" and "TV fun". when the hell will he learn?? i cant be expectid to keep trying to teach the kid to talk all my life lol.

he is home schooled.

Hi!

A friend lent me a doppler, but I don't know after how many weeks of pregnancy the heartbeat can be heard with one of these.

I know I'll have a dating scan in a few weeks and I'll be able to hear it then, but then I have to wait nearly 6 weeks to know if there IS a heartbeat at all.

Does anyone know when these dopplers can pick up the baby's heartbeat?
