Sorry I didn't make it too clear in 1st question... It's been 41 days since the 1st day of my last period. It's usually around 32/33 days. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months now. We did have sex on the days I was to ovulate. But I took 2 Accurate (cheaper) tests, and 1 First Response test at home and they were all negative... With my first 2 children, as soon as I missed a day of my period I took the test and it was positive...Am I just Hoping to be pregnant to much????Or is there a chance I could be pregnant????

Hello! I am having the same exact thing happening to me, my last period was 10/23/06 and it was 3 days of spotting only, and I had a bit of spotting on 11/16/06, I took a test last week and was negative, but I am having no kind of symptoms, so I am scared to retest, we are trying and I hate to see that damn negative! I think you should get into the doctors to have a blood test, or wait another few days to do a home test again. I know to well the anxiety it causes waiting to see that positive or for the period to show up,,I wish you the best of luck and lots of baby dust!!

You could be, but since it has been more than a week longer than a 'normal' cycle for you I would wait 5 more days, test again, and if still negative and no menstruation go to the doc.
If you are not, use the BBT method to chart your ovulation. It is the most accurate way to know if you are ovulating and when you should have intercourse to get pregnant.

It truly depends on what's normal for you. Also your age is a determining factor for the probability of you being pregnant. Sometimes tests do not detect the pregnancy hormone, as it is too faint, or in some cases of a threatening miscarriage. Your best bet is to go to an ob/gyn for a blood test.

It's a chance yes, but there are times when women stop having periods for a few months, or are late. They are linked t several reasons, stress, among others. But then again, you may be, well, congratulations if later tests show +ve.

Well there is a chance...But when in doubt, see your doc. Usually home preg tests are pretty accurate, and if you aren't pregnant, there could be something else going on.

There is a chance you could be pregnant, make a doctor appointment and get a blood exam
