Having a child.

I was single with my first. Believe it or not, I think it was easier alone! There was no one to argue with on values, discipline, etc. and there was certainly less laundry!!!

You asking a hard question!! Some women find the thought of having a baby so scary, maybe if you were married then the thought of having a baby wouldn't be so scary because you have extra security at the time that someone will always be there for you. But then again I'm not a religious person and marriages still have there problems and lots end in divorce. A baby is for life, and being a mum of one nearly two I would definitely choose having a child over marriage. The best way to put this is.. When you are with a man, boyfriend we normally say "i love you". Since having a baby I believe its not actually love. You don't know what love is until you hold your baby in your arms for the first time, this is love.

A child is a forever commitment to a woman over and above marriage. Women, especially, are programmed to care for their child even when it is old enough to care for itself.

Having children is a natural state.

Marriage is a man made invention.

Most men, I think, would put marriage first. I believe that men come to parenting more gradually than a woman.

Marriage.

I did honestly choose marriage. I warned my then fiance that I thought I would never want children. He's more important to me then any "possible" people in our lives.

We are now pregnant with our first (and only child). But if I had to choose I would still choose to be married and never have children.

Having a child. To me getting married only has a point if you're religious and as I'm not its not important to me. I'm quite happy just living with my partner

Thats a toughy for me. As I am both married and I have a daughter... But if I had to choose I think I would get married, as you can always adopt.

I would choose to have kids, you could always stay with the one you love even if you're not married.
