hey, i know its scary but it is unlikely.. if your babys head isnt locked down in your pelvis and is still above your pelvis then you maybe need to be concerned. My best friend was worried about the same thing cuz her mum couldnt deliver normally for the same reason.. and she is ever tinyer than her mum. ...very very small tiny girl and she had a 7Ib baby through vaginal delivery and he pretty much just fell out. So it depends on the individual but these days if your pelvis was too small then your doctor would already have worked that out or schedule u for an ultrasound. goodluck with your delivery, dont worry youll be fine!! =)

I had the same thing. My first born was way too big, so with the second child I had a pelvic scan. Painless and in no way dangerous to you or the baby. It showed the Doctor the size of the baby and the size of my pelvis. All was good. Each of my children got smaller, which was great. Ask your Doctor for one, but he will probably only arrange it just before you are due (2 or 3 weeks or so before your date).

I don't really know if you can tell ahead of time. I'm a big woman, but have a small pelvis - so it's not by your size that you can tell. One of my grandmothers had the same problem, and she was overweight too.
