If you're familiar with me and my name, you may know I've been asking several pregnancy questions over the last few months. I'm finally pregnant! Just found out and am now 9 weeks pregnant. MY MAIN CONCERN is that I may be developing gestational diabetes. I know most people only just start developing it around the 24th week, but in the last 2 weeks, I've had incredibly BAD vision (*Not being able to see over about 10-15 feet away) and also it feels like I can NEVER quench my neverending thirst. I feel like salt is caking my mouth. I drank a gallon of water in 4 hours!!! Which doesn't help with my increased urination. The last thing (other than all my normal symptoms,) is breast tenderness with occasional stabbing pains throughout my breasts maybe every other day. Any help with these things and previous pregnancy experience would help. THANKS!

When I went to the health department, I had already had the weeks mapped out based on LMP(Last Menstrual Period). So that would mean Im 9 weeks pregnant as of now, but the health department cut me back to I would be 6 wks pregnant right now. So, does the morning sickness start now or was it already supposed to be done and over with? What are most people talking about when they say weeks? If week 12 is the safe period, then am I almost there or should I be going by the health department. Most calenders of pregnancy go by your LMP if your looking up week to week Ive noticed. Im just kinda confused on which I should use on a regular basis, LMP or What the health department told me!!

Hi Friends,

I am pregnant & I went to my GP, she recommended me one hospital which is really worst & other 2 options were equally worst.. my question is can you select any other hospital or request, if yes does any official website or documents mentiones which I can show my GP as she is really rude.

Please advice I am concern for myself & Child.

My ex and i recently borke up due to my stupidity and immaturity. Before we when started dating, i found out she had a 16 month old daughter. She was raped by someone and her daughter was the result. I fell in love with my ex and i hit it off with her duaghter to the point where i consider her to be my own. I am only 17, but i cared for her like she was my own. I still love my ex and there is a possibility that we may get back together. I just need some advice on how to be a better boyfriend and father.

ok here goes ive lost my daughters red book i know shes tall for her age 75th percentile and ive took her dr today ime concerned about her eating and her weight he wasnt any good really he weighed her and said shes 16.5kg dont know what that is in stones i then said is she underweight he didnt say anything really just said bring her back after new year and if shes lost weight we will take her to se someone so ime asking if anyone could try work out her weight and tel e if shes underweight dr was no good thanks a concerned mum

No offense to you parents who like the more traditional names, but it seems that there are MILLIONS of kids named Michael and Brittany. I'm not saying that parents should name their kids after "Star Trek" characters, but I can't help but think that if a kid has a less common name, he'll have a stronger sense of individuality. Also, he would know when he was being addressed when he heard his name being called.

i just had our first baby and my husband and i are having sex again. the thing is, i'm on the pill until i can get an IUD and i'm so paranoid about getting pregnant again.
i'm sure it's just that i'm not ready to have another baby since i just got done having our little one, but i was wondering if anyone else experieinced this???

i mean, i feel like every time we have sex i will get pregnant!

did anyone else go through this?? is this just one more thing that will pass with time??

Well I am in labor, the early stages, how can I speed things up and get my water to break? Does walking really help? What else can I try?

Oh and just a helpful hint for all those that want those who want to say have sex.... recommend it if you know it only works if you are solo.

Hi. I wanna ask all of you first before i go to the doc. i was planning to go on pills. is there any side affects of it? will i get my period regularly as usual? coz i heard if you go on pills you only get period 3 times a year? one more, i still dont understand about patch method. you just stick the patch to your body and thats it? which one is better? thanks for the info.

Ok. Well I have always been irregular. I started on depo and took 2-3 shots (cant remember how many) and I took my last shot on July in 2003 and was due for another one around October but due to some problems (3 months of bleeding) I stopped and didnt go in for that shot. Ever since my husband and I have been only using condoms, Trojans. Anyways , I have not had a period since aorund October 12th or somewhere aorund in there. I did have some light spotting for 2 weeks at the beginning of Nov. It was discharge with blood in it, only had it like 3 times a day, not even enough for a panty liner!!! I have been feeling tired, having bad headaches on the left side of my head , I get nausea easily, my boobs are tingly feeling which is very weird for me because i've NEVER experienced anything like this before. I also have nnoticed my hair is softer and shinier and my face doesnt break out as bad. I had this with my son but no othe rsymptomes with him. Could I be pregnant or is it hormones?

We have been trying to conceive for 9 months. i was due for my period on Dec2nd, but have not got it yet. I took Hpt (store brand) showed negative. I feel nauseous and tired. Could the Hpt be wrong? Also I got a cold and bad cough since yesterday, if I am pregnant will the cough harm my baby? I am taking Robitussin for this.

I'm expecting my period on the 11th and my breasts having been hurting gradually every since the 1st. They are hurting really serveley now. My breasts ALWAYS hurt before my period but me and my husband had sex during my ovulation time, and I'm wondering if I'm pregnant would they still hurt like when I get my period or would they not hurt? Do they usually hurt this early if you are pregnant? I know I will just have to wait and take a test but I was just wondering if anyone else had these symptoms.

I'm 21.I have a daughter age 7.We live without her father.She is very independent and mature for her age.She is a happy child and always plays or anything and along with that she is mature.When she comes back from school,I'm at work and she eats sandwiches(I've made in the morning) and after writing her homework,she goes out with friends.She comes back after 4-5 hours(they play in far neighbourhood and she uses the bus).When she comes,it's sometimes dark outside.I'm afraid a little if something bad happens.I've talked with her if she would be able to come earlier but she refuses and says they have a great time and nothing bad will happen.I don't want to break the relationship between us(we are close as friends and I won't let anything to change that).What should I say or do,to explain that dark is danger sometimes?

Why does my nephew have crying spells? At times all he does is cry, I tried everything! He's to young to be getting his teeth. When he starts crying my daughter starts and it drives me nuts, because when I'm home alone it's when it's the worst, but the moment my boyfriend walks in it doesn't last as long, ten minutes at the most. They hardly ever cry for my boyfriend, they useally cry for me. So why are they crying like this? I need help big time!

Urine & blood test both came back negative. However, breasts & stomach are increasing in size. I'm now experiencing movement in my lower abdomen. On the pill never miss, don't wish to be pregnant. Is there a chance that the Dr.'s are wrong? If not pregnancy what could it be? I often too, have sharp pains in my stomach. I have not missed a period, however, they are much lighter and shorter then normal. This has been going on for 3+ months.
I'm not looking for anyone to tell me if I'm pregnant or not. More just curious if anyone has been in my shoes and what the outcome was.

Earlier last week (Friday or Saturday night) I forgot to take a birth control pill. I did, however, resume taking both pills the next morning.....my last period was November 14th ,( did not have spotting) I still due for my period this month . I have 6 more pills to go (21 pack) The thing is, about 3-4 days ago i start spotting like a brownish color, light pink, . Could this be implantation bleeding? My period is like a week away and this never happen before and i skipped and been always regular Is it possible to get implantation bleeding at this point in the cycle, especially when I am on b.c.?

I found out that I was pregnant last week. I have already been to the docotor and started my prenantal care. This is my first child so I aplogize in advance if I ask way to many questions on here. I am about 4-5 weeks. The docs aren't sure, they will know when they can measure the babys size in 4 weeks at my check up. Everything seems to be normal so far. All we could see on my ultrasound was a little sac.. The doc said they would see more in 4 weeks. Anyways now that I have explained my situation let me ask you ladies a quesiton. Did you have any syptoms this early? I mean the only thing is, well my breast were hurting really bad, they are still sore, but not to bad today. I have a head cold. I woke up in the middle of the night with an sore throat. Is it normal to not have all the symptoms? Is there any one else thats about 4-5?

My daughter forgot her progress folder at school so I waited outside for her to bring it to me so I could sign it. Her little friend walked up to my vehicle pouting because her mom forgot to sign hers and asked me to sign it so she wouldnt get detention. So I signed her dads name to it for her. Now i'm second guessing what I did. She said that her mom wouldnt be mad but i'm worried that she might be. Your opinions please?

My baby is three months old and today she seemed floppy and wont grasp my hand with much strength and there is an indent in her chest under the sternum when she breathes, I am wondering if I am just being paranoid or what causes this floppiness in babies..please respond thanks.
