Im 16 weeks pregnant and absolutely exaushted! I thought the tiredness would wear off once past the first trimester, but i feel so tired and breathless all the time. I am also suffering from lower backache a fair bit. I suspect its fairly common but do any of u ladies out there have any advice on how to cope with these symptoms?

he only went in one or two times, but there was no protection. he did'nt "go". I am not late for my period, Sometimes it's just nice to be reassured. I know I am somewhat overreacting. I have taken 2 home test, both have shown up negative? Any words of advice? Thank You

This is an continuation to the above question. Thanks for all the responses! The child is 10yrs. old and just this pass year began to dislike reading. When he was younger he enjoyed reading and was reading every chance he had. My husband and I do go to the bookstores and allow him to pick out the books that interest him. He will read to his babysister but when it comes to reading for school purposes (assignments) he takes a strong dislike, even though he selected the book of choice. So that is what I mean by how do I get him back into reading as a like not a dislike.

When you breast feed a baby, how do you know how much to give it? For example, when you bottle feed you know how many ounces the baby has had because of the indicator on the side of the bottle, but obviously when you BF you don't know. Will the baby stop feeding when it is satisfied or do you do it for a set amount of time? How will you know if baby has had too much or too little milk?

My neighbor's son has a fever, an earache, and body ache. It seems like he has either an ear infection or the flu. She's wondering if she should keep him home from preschool -- she doesn't want him to miss school if it would be okay for him to go.

I'm 3 days late today. I took 2 tests yesterday. 1 came back no and the other I couldnt see the lines very well. I've been on birth control since july. I started a different brand of pills in november and my doctor told me i could get preg. in the first month. Should i wait a few more days or buy more tests today?? Could it be my nerves stopping me from starting my period?

I have read that sometimes a child's sleeping pattern can be disturbed when he or she is trying to learn a major new skill. For example, it appears that my son is getting ready to crawl and/or pull up. He can go backwards, and rocks on his hands and knees constantly. He is unable to go forward yet. Last night he was awake on and off from around 10pm to 12am. He would be scream and my husband and I would go into his room and he would be rocking back and forth on his hands and knees. We would put our hand on his back and he would lay down and go back to sleep, but as soon as we got near the door he would get back up again. Any thoughts?? Anyone with experience with this? My son is 7 months old and always has been a very good sleeper. He generally sleeps from about 8 pm until about 6-7 am. He is a very active child during the day as well... Also, one more part to my question, does anyone have a good guideline for how long after a rocking on his knees before he crawls? Thanks!

I mean, it isn't necessary for teens to rebel. In fact, they probably would do better if they just shut up and listened to what their parents said instead of making everything a fight. I mean, I'm 18, and all of the time I've been a teenager, I've always tried to avoid being rebellious, and try to listen to my parents as much as possible, so why don't other teens?

My kids are 12 & 14, and still make "wish" lists for Christmas. I'm thinking they are too old for that. It started when they were little, and wrote to Santa with their lists. Of course, they don't still believe in Santa, but they still write the lists. They put tons of stuff, some expensive, some not. My husband & I usually decide on a set $$ amount to spend on each kid, and we choose 5 things each from their lists. One big (expensive) gift, and the rest less expensive. These are things that go under the tree, and does not include what we put in their stockings.

I guess I'm really thinking about my 14 yr old (15 end of January), when I wonder if 14 is too old for a list. Actually, even though I've asked and reminded her to give us her list multiple times, she still hasn't. My 12 yr old son has. So, should I just go on with shopping for my daughter and not worry about a list from her, and just surprise her?

What do you think?

I've noticed that quite a lot of people ask a question, get loads of good answers and don't bother to choose an answer/comment/etc.
Does it make you feel that the person isn't actually interested, and maybe you shouldn't bother to take the time to answer them?

Also, I have noticed that one person may ask a question saying "I'm pregnant ......." and then another saying "Am I too old to be a Dad........" ???????????
Do you think that these questions are genuine? Or are people just bored?
