This is the roughest time, hang in there....
You will be amazed that once your baby is born the problem goes away like magic, and it will be here before you know it.
Until then, try smaller meals more frequent in stead of 3 large meals, and stay sitting up or standing for a couple of hours after you eat. Also, prop up on a pillow when you sleep or sleep in a recliner.

I get really bad heartburn before bed, regardless of what I eat or drink. I have learned that to make it better, I do not eat for a few hours before bedtime and only drink water. Otherwise I have more frequent, smaller meals (and stay away from anything spicy because that will keep me up all night). I use Rolaids but they leave a really chalky taste in my mouth. I have heard a lot about Zantec being great but I have never tried it.

Bread works sometimes try that. nothing with salt on it. Try sitting still for a little while. Icecream works and so does sherbert. Helps me anyway. Oh and be ready everytime im about to go into labor i get the same problem and both times i have been at 38 weeks. Sounds like baby might be coming.

If you eat more small meals during the day instead of big meal it can help so your belly isn't full and the food can not come up. usually when your stomache is completely over the top full the happens most. so if you eat small meals your body can digest it faster and leave more room in you stomache for the acids and everything else.

Don't take anything until you talk to your doctor, but I used to take tums and not eat to much grease food. Also have some saltines crakers with you.

Zantac is AWESOME and safe for pregnant women... just buy it over the counter. It worked WONDERS for me! Good Luck!
(The good news, as soon as baby comes, which will be SOON, it will all go away by it's self!)
