My youngest daughter did this at sixteen months. Does he take off his diaper even when it is dry? I know this sounds awful, but put a piece of clear tape over the tabs on his diaper, and he won't be able to take it off. I'm not saying tape it to his skin. Just put a piece of tape over the tabs. I did this with my daughter, and she couldn't take it off.
As for the clothes, the same daughter used to pull off her shirt. She's leave her pants on, but the shirt would be off. Kids do that. He'll outgrow it!

Most babies like to be naked. It's natural. Don't stress over it. If you live in a cold climate, just keep telling him that he needs to keep his clothes on to keep warm. Maybe you could let him pick out what clothes he wants to wear. Sometimes it's just about their independence. Now that he knows how to do it, he may be doing it because it's his decision to do it. If he is allowed to choose which clothes to put on, he might not take them off. Good luck.

I dont know why. my 2 year old does it too. We live in a warm climate, so I usually let mine run around half naked, unless we're going out somewhere. Try putting on his diaper backwards, it should be harder to take off.

I know exactly what you are going through! My 20 mo old does the same thing, at first we thought it was cute, until it was cold in our house and we had to make him put them back on. Its just a phase. Something new hes discovered. We are using this oppportunity while he is doing it to teach him how to put them back on. Its starting to work. Maybe you should try it too. When he starts to pull his arms out of the sleeves, or pull his pants down, show him how they go back on the same way. My son is starting to like it so much, he goes into his pajama drawer and brings them to us to put them on! your son will get over it in time. Just enjoy the laughter he gives you in the process.

its the age they want to be free. Don't force him to wear anything unless you are going out or he is going to bed. Now would be a great time to start with potty training. Good luck and don't worry its just a stage he will get through it.

It's quite normal. Give him the freedom to be naked at home, but stand your ground on wearing clothes when you leave the house, sit to eat, or have company.
