im not sure how warm is too warm, but it may not be anything serious...ask ur doc about that one...

as far as the navel ring goes, some people continue to wear them, but most dont, as they tend to get really uncomfortable...they'll pinch, and stretch that skin there, which'll cause the area to get irritated..it can cause a possible infection, and u dont want that cuz u'd probably have to take antibiotics to clear it ( those meds can be harmful to ur baby) BUT u can put sumthing in place there , im not sure what it's called, but it'll keep your hole open, and it wont irritate ya. Good luck and congrats with the baby!!

My daughter in law had a belly ring, and the doctors advised her to remove it once her belly started stretching to accomodate the baby. Her doc said if she left it in, the piercing hole would get stretched out, and leave a wide gaping hole once her tummy went back to it's pre-pregnancy size.

No, it's not okay to have "Naval Jewelry" (by the way, "Naval" refers to the Navy) since you're somebody's freaking mother. Grow up and take out your belly button ring now.

I would personally think its the blood rush to your tummy that would make it feel warm...
