Since a ridiculously high number of pregnancies are unplanned, there's a fair amount of information on stuff like one early exposure to marijuana.
Verdict: no problem.
An interesting study:
"Participants. Twenty-four Jamaican neonates exposed to marijuana prenatally and 20 nonexposed neonates.
Measurements and main results. Exposed and nonexposed neonates were compared at 3 days and 1 month old, using the Brazelton Neonatal Assessment Scale, including supplementary items to capture possible subtle effects. There were no significant differences between exposed and nonexposed neonates on day 3. At 1 month, the exposed neonates showed better physiological stability and required less examiner facilitation to reach organized states. The neonates of heavy-marijuana-using mothers had better scores on autonomic stability, quality of alertness, irritability, and self-regulation and were judged to be more rewarding for caregivers."

Note some conflicting studies mentioned further on, though.
And:
"Teratogenicity. Marijuana has not been implicated as a human teratogen. No homogeneous pattern of malformation has been observed that could be considered characteristic of intrauterine marijuana exposure."
Sick Kids is about as reliable as you can get; that's from http://www.motherisk.org/prof/updatesDetail.jsp?content_id=336
and their motherisk.org site is pretty useful.
Read up on what's going on with the "baby" (there isn't one yet) at two weeks; you'll feel better. I can't imagine any sane person would think there might be any problem from such a small amount just once.

Others above have linked the Jamaican study. In Jamaica, people smoke as much as 28 times the typical use in the US and pregnant women often smoke during their entire pregnancy. Using any drug is not recommended while pregnant, but there is no evidence that it does any real harm to the baby -- even when used at those levels.
There is just about zero chance that a one-time use will have any permanent effect on your baby.

Continued used of any substance alcohol/drugs affects the baby long term and in utero. If you smoked weed "one time" during the first couple of weeks of pregnancy before you knew you were pregnant odds are the baby will be just fine. I say this because before I knew I was pregnant I went out w my husband and got so very drunk {something completely out of the norm for me as I am NOT a drinker} and 2 days later discovered I was pregnant, freaked out and went crying to my OB who reassured me with the words I first typed at the beginning of this answer. I wish you the best. But please to be on the safe side be honest w your dr regarding your drug/alcohol use so that he can monitor the baby properly

no. Your baby will be fine just don't do it again cuz it's definitely not healthy and newborns have a drug screening when they are born and you don't wanna lose the kid. Weed stays in the system for 30 days. I have known people to smoke until they were about 5 or 6 months along, but I think that is stupid and irresponsible and do not recommend it.

Technically the initial smoking will not harm the baby that early on, Because the ovum has not yet formed a placenta to exchange nutrients with your body's blood supply. Until that happens the tiny little embryo survives off a yoke.
However, the halucinagens and toxins from narcotics such as pot stay in your system for day, weeks, and in some cases- depending on your level of usage, even months. That means that your baby might not get all the vital nutrients it needs from you, during this time the baby needs and insane amount of folic acid, vitamins and minerals and pot not only depletes your system of those things, but it leaves the baby no where to get them. This results in any number of birth defects, from things like learning difficulties to missing eyes and deformed limbs because the body wasnt able to properly form.
There are more reasons to not smoke, do drugs, or get drunk than because it poorly effects you. You never know when, as a woman, you might be pregnant and not be able to offer the best to your growing baby.
Next time use a little caution, and think beyond yourself, even if theres no one there at the time.

Don't worry! Your baby will be just fine! As long as you don't do it again, and like it was said before, stay away from ALL smoking. You should really get the book, "What To Expect While Expecting". It will answer all of those questions for you! Good Luck!

I smoked for my 1st pregnancy after losing more than 15 lbs. in my 1st trimester and constantly being sick. My child is now 4 years old and has no signs of the things they all say complicate children who are born to mothers who have smoked marijuana. Morally, this is looked down upon by society but who is anyone else to judge? Be honest with your care provider when you go to see them about ALL drug use. This is the most important thing...but don't beat yourself up over it. Stress may produce an even worse outcome...enjoy being pregnant

It may be fine or maybe not, if you keep on smoking you may lead your baby to mentally handicapped or anything that could affect the baby, so I suggest you that you should quit smoking for own good or for the baby's because they also do have a choice to live on the world, you should give them a chance.

Yes, your baby will be just fine. Much too early to have an affect. HOWEVER, you need to stay away from illegal activities now. Any drugs or alcohol will have an affect on your baby. Caffiene also has an affect. Anything that you ingest will have an affect on your baby. Also, if you hang out will people that have anything to do with illegal substances, you have a chance of losing your child. It's time to grow up and be responsible now.
