why do ppl do this, its so cruel, some do it to let ppl know their baby is a girl, but thats stupid, all you have to do is dress them like a girl or simply open your mouth and tell ppl, if ppl all over started doing this to their dogs i could guarantee animal rights activists would step in, dont you think that ppl that do this to their little babies should be charged with child abuse, if they shoved a needle thru any other part of their childs body they would be, so why is the ear OK, cuz it looks pretty, thats so stupid, what do you think, should they be arrested

My son is 4 years old and almost every night his bed is wet.
We take him to bathroom after he had slept for3hrs every night but again in the morning bed is wet.

What were your changes anywhere within a week of you going into labor...especially the more unheard of changes like did you...

have increase in discharge
any mood swings
lots of cramping

anything and everything you remember please share...please be as specific as possible...and feel free to give lots of detail if you must...im really curious to see what i should look for besides the obvious contractions and water breaking..

I am pregnant and I called the hospital to schedule a prenatal appointment, but the nurse said she wont schedule me one until I have medicaid.Can they do this? I told her that I have already applied and I am waiting for a response.I have proof of my application too, and medicaid pays for bills that were made up to three months back. I really would like to see a doctor because I have no idea how far along I am and would like to know.What can I do?

My birthday is coming up and i kind of know what i want to do. At first i wanted to have a hotel party with me and a few of my friends but i dont have enough money to do that and plus i have 5 friends i want to invite that means there would be no room in the hotel room. So, im thinking about going bowling then going to the movies then having a few of my friends spend the night. But out of the 5 1 of them is a boy. My mom does not even let boys go into my room without the door closed. Im a responsible person. And i need help to kind of bribe her because i want to have fun for my birthday this year. The last 2 years i have not even had a party. Any advice or suggestions?

Ps.. she trust me but not when it comes to boys

We have tried ignoring him (he screams, kicks and spits), letting him look at books (he throws them at other kids or rips the pages out), drawing or coloring (he breaks the pencils and crayons), removing priviledges, rewarding him when he is quiet or goes to sleep, calling his mother, etc...The other parents are getting upset & mad when their children have not had a nap, or at least not a very long one, because he woke them up. Today, one child managed to sleep 10 minutes and was a BEAR the rest of the afternoon until her mom picked her up. Her mom said that she had been a real grouch all last night because she had not slept at all yesterday either. This same little girl usually sleeps 2-2 1/2 hrs when the non-sleeping boy is not here or when she is at home. (Understandably, I'm sure it is a LOT quieter at home, but the parents have to work and the child needs her rest) We are a small daycare in a home, but childcare laws limit what we can do. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!

I had a premature baby. He is 3 months old now. He started drinking formula after he came home from the NICU at 3 weeks old. He started out with Enfamil Enfacare. The hospital I had him at was a very big hospital in a bigger city. Where I live our clinic is very small and only has 2 pediatricians. They dont know very much about preemies which scares me! I didnt know when to change his formula. So I switched him when he was almost 2 months old. He is now drinking Enfamil Gentlease. He would cry and cry right before I changed his formula (with the Enfacare). With the Gentlease he doesnt cry anymore and doesnt spit up. But his stools are getting very dark green and watery. I asked his Dr. and she just said she doesnt understand why this would happen! I tried taking him to other Dr's but they just say I need to see his Dr. about it. She isnt much help. He was checked for infection so he's not sick, not crying, sleeping good, temp is normal. Does this mean I need to change his Formula?

I had to take a glucose test this morning, and I know I had to fast, but they told me no water iether, not even a sip for 12 hours before. All the websites I see you can drink water. With my first kid i took the same test, and was allowed water. Were any of you allowed or banned drinking water?
If your a med student, nurse or doc, I want to know why I couldnt drink water, I dont see how it could effect the test.
I asked my nurse and she said "it's the rules"

a stay home mom, my husband works out of town and does not want me to have a job (insecure, thinks Ill leave or something) anyways, I told him I wanted a car and he can afford another car, he said he would get me a car 5 months ago and in the last 5 months has had plenty of money to do so, he just keeps making excuses to NOT buy me one (used) I am getting fed up with this and I have decided that I was done being nice and have since cut off from sex (sex only) and told him he wont get any until I get a car, I have said I would get a job and he said "why, ill get you a car" and hasnt yet.
He wants to be a contolling wench, well now I will be.

When he is out of town, I cant go anywhere, busses here are not always on schedule and to get anywhere takes like 50 minutes, or asking someone for a ride, but when they say 4 they mean 7.
Also "our" money is not our money but to him our means "his" money, so I cant just go out and buy a car.

She is 8 weeks pregnant with our first child. We're both really excited about it so I want to get at least one Christmas gift for her that's related to the pregnancy or the child. All of them switch they're name bracelets. I can't tell them apart. Aquira always tells me " Mommy, I wanna be different!" then she cries. They are all 6. They have the same everything! Help Please!

It has been getting worse over the past few months.she will follow me around the apt she insists on sleeping in the bed with me. she doesnt like to be in a room by herself.im a single mother who is in school. my daughter goes to daycare at night and on the weekends she is with her father or grandparents.i dont get to spend that much time with her.i dont think that her following me around has to do with her not seeing me as much.im sure thats part of it but its beginning to get ridiculous.she would much rather sit in the living room with me and watch me do my homework with no tv on or anything that go play with toys.i dont know what is happening or what to do do break her of this attachment problem. before this she used to be so independent and would do things by herself. now she just wont leave my side for anything. please someone help im afraid something is seriously wrong.

We had intercourse on Dec 2, 11.30 am , but i got my period on the same day 10.30 pm on Dec 2. What are the chances for me getting pregnant. Because we like to have the baby after 2 years. Coming to the intercourse my boyfriend says he took out my penis before ejaculating his semen. But in some of the websites mention that pre-ejaculation fluid comes out of the penis unknowingly because of the excitment. I was taking my birth control as usual, got my period on Monday, it stopped on Sunday. I had sex last night (Monday). I was scheduled to start week 1 birth control today (Tuesday), We decided not to continue on birth control, as we are trying to concieve. Anyhow, everything was fine until this afternoon when I went to the bathroom and wiped and the tissue had clear very light pink mucus. It was not brown like "old blood". Could I have freaked out my system by not taking the week 1 beginning pill today? Am I going to have another period? Is this normal when you stop taking the pill? I should mention that I have PCOD and used birth control to regulate the periods. The brand name of the birth control I was on was Orthotricyclin Lo. It's not possible that this is inplantation bleeding is it?
