I would suggest a series of prenatal massages that she can use whenever she feels she needs one. Make sure you purchase them from someone who specializes in prenatal massage. CONGRATULATIONS!

Prenatal massage gift certificates! It was all I wanted as I got further along. For something right now, one of those week by week or month by month books with spaces for you to fill stuff in would be nice. Just make sure you get at least one gift for her that has nothing to do with the baby-only her. After awhile it can start to feel like you aren't a person, just a "baby carrier". It's nice to have people treat you like an individual every once in awhile.

A workout book is a horrible gift, she already knows she's going to gain some extra pounds, she doesn't need to be reminded of that. A pedicure or a manicure would be nice, a day at the spa, a day of shopping or anything that would give her some time to herself to relax is perfect. But if your wife is really athletic then she would probably enjoy the books. Congratulations and Good luck on your first child!!!

you can buy things called pregnancy calanders. They are a calandar that your wife can write in throughout the pregnancy to record all the special little things that happen to her like ultrasounds, listening to heartbeat, food cravings, feeling the bub kicking, baby getting hiccups inside her. Its also full of information she can read up on and has some handy tips too. They are not expensive, usually around $15AD and look just like a normal calandar. Have a look in some baby shops or google it?
If she is having morning sickness or feeling very tired, i would suggest a pedicure. Make sure you get her at least 3 during her pregnancy, it did me the world of good.
p.s i think you are pretty sweet for wanting to make her feel special... keep it up!

I seen the most adorable book at Hastings. It is a book that has a pregnancy journal and it is the baby book. I think it would be great because she is early enough she could keep up with her pregancy and when the baby is grown it would make a great gift also.

Oh for goodness' sake, let her put the tree up. She obviously wants to have it, and by making her wait, she may not feel up to it when the "appropriate" time comes. She's completely right about getting it done NOW, while you know you have time. Between Thanksgiving, doctor's appointments, and the added stress of "any day now," it's going to be hard to get any Christmas decorating done later on. Just let her have her tree now. It will make her happy, and there is NOTHING worse than an unhappy, pregnant woman...

This will be the best gift ever!. If you are good with computers if not get some help. make a coupon booklet, make coupons that will help her out. like a coupon for a foot message, whole body message. A get away coupon with you or with her girlfriends. A movie coupon with you or girls. A clean the house coupon - where you do all the work for the day. A laundry coupon- where you do the laundry for the day. A cooking coupon. A shopping coupon-yes you have to give her the money to shop with. And the best coupon ever, a sex me up coupon- whatever she wants you have to do it. And what ever you can think of that is good.

Get her a christmas tree ornament for expected parents. I just saw one the other day at a Hallmark store. I know I would have loved that. I probably would not get her workout books, that might bring on some tears. You never know what could upset her. Good luck. Merry Christmas

Dont buy any workout tapes because your wife will get the wrong idea and think that you are trying to say that she is fat. Remember is hormonal right now. I would find her some nice maternity clothes but also buy she something thats just for her and has nothing to do with the baby or being pregnant just to say I love you and I appericate you

Pregnant moms always seem to like spa stuff. Like a pregnancy massage and mani/pedi since they can't reach the toes.
I just got my aunt a Yoga dvd that she can do while she's pregnant, after the baby, even with the baby after he's born.
Oh, and good luck with the whole Dad thing :)

Oh...When I was pregnant, I really wanted some cute maternity shirts. There are some shirts that say...
'Birth Control is for Sissies"
"I can grow people, what can YOU do."
Just some cute stuff to wear while I was pregnant. Just google the "sayings" and you'll find some fun stuff.
Best of luck. You're a sweet guy. Congrats on your soon-to-be baby.
