Unless you are having belly or lower back pain, I wouldn't worry too much. If you do start having pain, your water breaks, or you start spotting, get to the dr's office or hospital. And yes, if you were to fall hard enough to hurt the baby, you indeed could have a miscarriage...the baby could be stillborn.

No. Your baby is VERY well protected right now, so the worst that can happen is that you'll go into labor. You'd have to fall REALLY hard right on your belly only for the baby to get a bump from it. Keep an eye on your achey tailbone, though, sometimes labor pains start in the back. If the pain doesn't go away with a little tylenol and some rest, give your doctor a call, he may want to check and see if you're dialating at all :)

Actually it is possible to have a misscariage this late but it is considered a still birth, but i am sure you are fine. Is the baby moving around ok ? If he/she is then i think your fine. It could put you into labor also, but 37 weeks is considered full term so it would be ok. I also fell when i was about 38 weeks and everything was fine. but also worried the same thing. Drink something cold and lay down on your left side and count the number of movements from the baby. And if every thing seems normal then it should be ok.

You and the baby are probably all right but when your OB is open give them a call and they might want to do a check just to be on the safe side. I fell when I was 8 months (holding a 2 y/o) on ice and everything was fine. I called the OB clinic and they just did a fetal heart rate and asked for any symptoms. "K" was born at 39 weeks with no complications.
Another thing to remember is that's what the amniotic fluid is for. Good luck on the soon to be arrival!!

Yoou should really call the doctor... when I fell I went to the hospital and they told me that the first 4 hours after a fall are the most important... Seriously, call the doctor hun, if your doctor wants you to go to the hospital, they will moniter the baby's heart beat and may even have an ultrasound done. Its always better to be on the safe side.
Good Luck to you!

No, brused knees and tailbone are all you should get, sorry in advance, but tailbone injuries no matter how minor can be hell to deal with when in labor, and i know tailbones heal slow. I would tell your doc tomorrow, but i wouldnt worry. Since your past 36 weeks even if it causes labor, baby should be just fine.

Do you remember the skydiver who fell and found after that she was pregnant?
I would lay down and see if you fell movement. You should fell it every so often. Call your doctor and let them be aware of what happened. They may want a stress test just incase. If you have any signs i would be sure to call the dr right away....

you should immediately get yourself checked up. the slight impact even on the unborn by your fall may have some effects on the baby. I have had very bad experience and am still suffering from a child born deaf because of a fall i had. though doctors do not attribute the reason to my child inability.

you never know. Is the baby moving still ?? are you in any pain? I am the type that says better be safe then sorry. If it was a hard fall them you may want to go in and let them check you out make sure the baby is fine. I fell at 37 weeks with my son ( didn't know I was preggo lol) and he was fine but another lady I know fell and her baby died but she fell in a hole and landed on her belly.
