Generally it's around the 2 week point...when you would normally have a period. That's why many people don't know they're pregnant until they're almost 2 months along. They think they're having a normal period.

So few women get implantation bleeding that its really not something you ever look for. Its more common to have a cycle with break through spotting and bleeding than to have implantation bleeding when pregnant.
Its not how long after sex, its how long after ovulation and fertalization. Generally about a week or so.

Most women have it around the time of their expected period and some mistake it for a shorter period while others have light pink spotting.

Not when you normally would have a period. GEESH.
Implantation spotting...IF you have it, not everyone has it....occurs anywhere from 5-10 days PAST ovulation (give or take a day).
