The ready to use formula would be good...or I remember Enfamil used to sell packets that made just one bottle but I'm not sure if they still make those.

You can buy milk in the supermarket that is in cartons on the shelf, it doesn't need refrigeration and it's only available in 2%.
I use it all the time because it comes only in 1liter cartons and I can store it in the cupboard before opening. We're only two in the house who eat three times a week cereal and buying the gallons is useless it always goes bad and takes too much room in the fridge. The milk is made by Parmalat and tastes great.

They make powdered milk that if you mix with water is spose* to be like regular milk. Thats all I know, I hope it helped some.

Hi. now that your child is one you can just use normal cows milk just what ever you drink. You don't need to use canned or powdered milks.

Powdered milk. You can also buy an extra quart and freeze it.

They do make a formula for toddlers now- so I would suggest getting something like that.

You can use the UHT stuff that doesn't need to be refrigderated until it is opened, so you can can have it in your cupboard for that odd emergency :)

I guess if your baby previously had formula, you could have a container of that handy.
