Pregnancy & Parenting - 28 November 2006

What do you think about the following boy names? We will most likely use Robert as the middle name since it comes from both sides of the family. Our favorite boy names so far are:

Cole, Owen, Titus, Joseph, and Jack

Last name is Kirby.....any opinions would be appreciated! We're kind of feeling stuck.

Ok, here's the situation. I am 10 weeks 2 days pregnant today. I have slept with 2 guys before I found out I was pregnant. 1 is my boyfriend that I have sex with all the time, and we never have protected sex, and he never pulls out. Me and my boyfriend got into a fight and I ended up sleeping with my best friend.(sigh) I'm not a slut, and I never sleep around like this. The thing is ..my best friend never did come b/c I told him I couldn't do this, it made me feel bad. (I felt guilty) So we never got to finish. Although I know there is such thing as pre-come.. it makes me really confused only because I counted exactly 10 weeks 2 days from todays date and it dates back to Sept 15. I called my doctor because I was worried about it. I was lucky to already have an ultra sound done 2 weeks ago b/c I wasn't sure of my last period. So going by my due date which is June 24th..the nurse told me I concieved on the 2nd of Oct. Why am I counting back to Sept 15th?? HELP ME PLEASE

We have a daycare in the home and some of the kids come to your house stinking of cigarette smoke. These parents smoke around their kids and I find it disgusting and at least they could smoke outside so their kids arent breathing it in What is your opinion?

My littlest brother will be 2 in January, is he too young to enjoy a tricycle? His motor skills are better developed than his verbal skills. He's very energetic and coordinated. I'm not sure he would understand or enjoy the concept, however. At what age did your children start to enjoy a tricycle?

I am pregnant- 3 months to be exact. I work as a BS1.... work 1 on 1 with a 6 year old girl on behaviors- she is diagnosed as Autistic. She doesnt always have behaviors but when she does- they can be pretty rough- hitting- pulling hair- bolting- falling to the floor and not getting up. I have a physical disability- not severe- but weakness due to a stroke... When do you think I should get done work? If you were me, when would you get done?

I really dont believe spanking a child but tonight my 7 year old was so full of himself that he finally got spanked? All afternoon we ask him to stop touching, Leave that alone... ETC... I finally told him no video games... He came back with Sooo... I did not want to play video games anyway... So i told him for that outburst no tv tonight....SO as night came he started throing a fit that he cant sleep and scream and cryed and told me i was being mean...

I explain to him that if he listen in the store and in school and when he came home non of this would happened.....

I gave him and let watch tv while he laid there for bed... but if he gets up one more time that be it Upstairs NO tv... right after i said that... He got back up and started into my room again.... So i sent him upstairs and he screammed and yelled so i swatted him about 3 times and sent him up stairs.. His dad felt bad and went up to see.... he was asleep.... Did i do wrong? should i have done something different?

My baby is 8 months old and she doesnt want to sit up. When I sit her up she tries to get up on her legs or she just pushs her back backward so she can lay down.What could i can do to make it interesting so she will want to sit up?I think her back is strong enough she is just being lazy.

I am only 16 yrs old.I am aware that i am still very young and have a future ahead.But my problem is that i hate school.Maybe its that i am not trying hard enought but i just hate it so much.What i want to do in life does not require history or Science!I want to be a cosmetologist.If that doesnt work out i want to be a hair dresser.I want to drop put and start right away in Blames or a school that can help me with that.The problem is that i want to tell my parents i just dont know how.I know its going to be dissapointing but they will get over it.I dont want you guys to tell me to stay in school because thats not exacly the answer i was looking for i was looking or a way to tell my parents i want to drop out.If i drop out now I can probably have the carreer i want by the time my classmates finish highschool.I will get a job of course.I get really bad grades becuase im just not interested in what the teachers are teching. I just want to get out and start with something im going to love!

I have a pretty regular cycle, 27-29 days in length. I've been tracking my ovulation as well as my fertile period, but it seems that I still feel pretty fertile, meaning my cervicle mucous is still appears egg white and I feel moist/wet down there even days after I supposedly ovulated. My last period was, Nov. 10., we had sex on the 18th, 20th, 22th, 24th and 25th (my poor husband!). And wtill today I feel pretty wet down there. Could I have ovulated later than I had anticipated? Thanks.

I don't know which one to pick. I am 36 weeks pregnant and can't decide on which one is more important to me. one hospital have good nurse that treat you with respect, but the rooms not all that(you have to share, only 3 people limited in the room for delivery, only 2 people at a time after you have the baby can visit, visitation stops at 9pm)



The other hospital have nice private rooms, don't matter how many people in the room for delivery, you can labor in a tub that have jets in there, visitors can come see you 24 hours. The nurse attitude stinks. What should I do? The first hospital is 8 miles away from my house, 2nd hospital 4 miles from my house.
