She's 5 years old and in Kindergarten. We've traditionally read short childrens' stories, but we'd like to start reading Charlotte's Web one chapter per night.

I'm having a boy (So the ultrasound says... I know they aren't ALWAYS right) but I just wanted to know if there were any wive's tales or anything on ways you could tell if you were having a boy or a girl. My friend is also pregnant and she doesn't know what she's having yet, so we thought this might be fun.

has anyone else when pregnant ever had a higher body temperature towards noon into nighttime rather than first waking up? i know you usually have to take a bbt in the AM but my temp is always higher by atleast 1.0 to 2.1 degrees higher when i wake up ( my temp waking is always98.6 or 98.7)

I was just wondering exactly how they change. My nipples have been really sensitive lately, my areolas seem bigger, and there are these tiny bumps on them...i wasn't sure if this could be pregnancy or if i'm crazy =) my breast have also been really tender...

so women with experience please...how did your breasts change while you were pregnant?

What can I do? My daughter goes to the bathroom sometimes. She tell me she have to go sometimes, but most of the time I have to put her on a schedule in order for her to go. I know she had surgery when she was first born on an organ inside of her stomach, We are actually getting things checked out, so Im hoping that is the problem. Not really hoping that is the problem, but I will feel better to know its not all her.

Well when we got merried i told him about my irregular period and that there was a pissibillity that it would be a strugle he said he love me and that he would work on it with me so i said yes.
BUt as the day seem to past that i am not pregnant i see him get more agressive what medication can i take in order to be able to have a regular period and be agle to have kids

my hubby and i have been trying to have a baby for 11 months now and still nothing. we have now purchased an ovulation kit and it shows that i will be ovulating within the next 36 hours. well tried last night would it be to no avail if we tried another two days in a row?

My 2 year old toddler has been having some trouble chewing and swallowing his food properly. About once a day, on average, he gags on some food and throws up. .He keeps food in his mouth and spit or vommits afterwards.He is fussy eater.He don't like to eat anything,even if he is hungry.
.He makes a loud,annoying burp every time when he eats.
He drinks little milk using trainer cup.
I have talked to his peditrician several times about this. Basically, because our son is healthy, he's not really interested in seeing him. he said some kids just gag easily, and they tend to get better as they get older.
Does anyone have advice on helping our son get over this yucky problem?

I heard that there was a website for the little girl that was on Dr Phil, the one whose mother was saying her dad was sexually molesting her. I got the name of the site and i know it is right, but i have tried to open it about 6 times and it just keeps "thinking" and will never open. Is it possible that there are too many people trying to get onto that site right now? Has anyone else tried to get onto it?

I am waiting on my period, I am now a day late. My luck it's just some crappy long cycled month! Do any of you know if back cramping is a symptom of pregnancy. Not hurting cramps but like tensed up cramping kind of like a charlie horse kind of cramp.. In the lower back may I add, any insight or get this while prego?

I have a five year old. There is nothing wrong with my daughter. She is simply a cry-baby. Nothing I tell her is done without a why, a wimper, and a cry. She screams at us, she yells at us. She is so disrespectful. At night, she says she cannot sleep. I tell her to go back to bed, she says she cannot do it. I give her time-outs, I talk to her, I negotiate, I play, I talk. I'm to the point of not caring anymore. I want to leave. What do I do? (To top it all off I haven't had a cigarette in 3 days).

I have a 20 month old son, he started out having a lil fever on friday night, saturday I had to take him to childrens hospital his temp was 104.2 and vomiting. They gave him amoxicillin and for me to keep roating motrin and tylenol to keep the fever down and to schedule him with his doctor for a check up. Which was today he has still be having a fever and nit picking for eating things.. His doctor told me give it two days if things dont change bring him back.I jus took his temp again its 102.1 and he has some kind of red bumps all over his body.Can any one give me some kind of advice on anything else I could do to help him feel better and if things dont change by thursday what could the doc actually do that he hasnt already?

I know its a comfort thing but parents wont wash it because the child wont let them, come on. What do u think? Suggestions on how to get a kindergardener to leave her blankie at home? My friend is a (older) first time mother--her daughter is only three months old. She's had a rough pregnancy, labor, and now is having trouble with her daughter. We cannot relate on any parenting, pregnancy, or delivery topic. She's called parenting a disappointment and has also called her daughter a "nescience." I have, luckily, had a very easy time so far with parenting, pregnancy, and labor.

She told me today basically that it was not fair that my pregnancy was not at the "right" time yet I have had an easy time with everything. She was not joking. I'm a young mother. I feel I do things great--so far what I do has worked for me.

I've explained to her parents and children have different styles. I've tried to point out the good things she does. I've tried everything I can think of to make her feel better. Could she possibly have post-partum? I feel like she resents me for my accomplishments at a young age--in a sense things she has yet to do. How do I deal with this?
