I'm having a boy (So the ultrasound says... I know they aren't ALWAYS right) but I just wanted to know if there were any wive's tales or anything on ways you could tell if you were having a boy or a girl. My friend is also pregnant and she doesn't know what she's having yet, so we thought this might be fun.

I think most of the old wives tales are just that ..tales however i do stand by the one that says if you dont have bad morning sickness then its a boy. I am sure theres plenty of people that would shoot that one down though. It just seems true for most of the people i know. I am having a boy also (27 weeks).

I used both the chinese predictor, and the wedding ring over your belly, but you can also use a needle the same way as the ring, and it will predict not only what you are pregnant with now, but how many children you will have and their sexes. I know it sounds like a load of bologna, but they both worked for me twice. Good luck!

I'm having a boy too! I guess if they see his penis clearly then ,a boy ususally wont "become" a girl...usually its a girl that "becomes" a boy with the ultrasound. Umm, as far as w/o the ultrasound I've heard of myths and things like boy babies like mommies carrying girl babies and vice versa...also moms like salty & greasy foods with boy babies and sweeter and healthier foods with girl babies.

everyone says different ways of knowing if they were true ultrasound people probly wouldnt have jobs, most likely if you were a told its a boy, chances are thats right, be patient you'll find out for sure sooner or later, and really does it matter?

Take off your wedding ring and put it on a string. Hold the string over your belly. If it begins to turn in a circle it is a girl (I think) and if it sways in a straight line, it is a boy.

Chances are you will a boy its easier to see a penis for sure then to not find it or knowing its a girl. Search it on yahoo or your favorite search engine there should be websites out there

When I was pregnant with my daughter she was very low. When I was pregnant with my son he was high and stuck out. They say that its the other way around .

In the front it's a boy and to the side it's a girl.
