I was just wondering exactly how they change. My nipples have been really sensitive lately, my areolas seem bigger, and there are these tiny bumps on them...i wasn't sure if this could be pregnancy or if i'm crazy =) my breast have also been really tender...

so women with experience please...how did your breasts change while you were pregnant?

I had the same feelings and changes that you are describing right now. They were really sore, heavy, my areolas got a lot larger too. Closer to the end of my pregnancy, the took another "growth spurt" and went up another size, and about 2 days after I left the hospital and started breast-feeding they got another size larger.

Your body's reaction to natures call. Don't forget your breasts will sag due to the increase in size, feeding, and gravity. The joys of pregnancy and birth.

Why are my breasts so sore now that I'm pregnant?
Hormonal changes during pregnancy cause increased blood flow and changes in the breast tissue, which may make your breasts feel swollen, sore, tingly, and unusually sensitive to touch. Some women describe the sensation as an exaggerated version of how their breasts feel before their period.

Breast tenderness is one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. It usually starts around 4 to 6 weeks and lasts through the first trimester.

... lumps and bumps... prengancy can be hinted by swelling of breasts. the little bumps on the areolas are little pockets that house lubracation for the baby when it feeds, to keep everything from drying out. Your breast will be super sore if the get sore at all. my first one, not a tingle or feeling at all, my second pregnancy couldnt even think of wearing a bra. hurt like hell all the time! Hormones will be the big factor in breast changes. google it and read for yourself. Good luck!!!

As we are on the topic. When i met my husband he told me i was under weight, and he wanted to fatten me up one way or another. I told him i eventually wanted breats implants, i am a natural a cup. So with that a 8 months later i was fat(fatter) and had the breast size i always wanted. to bad they disapeared after i stipped feedings :) and the weight went to my thighs...

You are either pregnant or you have a hormone imbalance. Breast tenderness was the one thing that tipped me off with this pregnancy--a week before my period was due.
