I just responded to your other question about your son's eating difficulty. Taking that into account as well, I'd highly recommend Early Intervention Services again. Given all the information you provided in your other question, I think it's extremely important for you to advocate for your child. GOOD LUCK!

My son would be 2 this month. He has been asserting words for the reason that he exchange right into a million, straightforward ones like ball, cup, mommy, daddy, domestic dog...he has an quite great vocabulary whilst it comprises merely asserting one be conscious. He has merely in the previous few weeks began to place 2 or 3 words jointly. i'm no longer worried. i understand a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old that talks a mile a minute! My son is obviously in the back of the different infant yet i do no longer think of he's "in the back of'. i do no longer think of your son is the two. My son additionally will tell me loooong thoughts in jibberish, I see no longer something incorrect with it. maximum toddlers catch as much as a minimum of one yet another by the time they are preschool or kindergarten. as long as they understand and would talk i do no longer see a difficulty. I instructed my son right this moment "bypass throw this away and then grab me a towel to scrub your milk up, and whilst i'm completed take the towel and positioned it in the abate please." He remembered and did it step by step. merely because of the fact they are able to't talk properly yet does no longer mean they are in the back of in my eyes. solid luck with your appealing infant. :)

When my son turned 2 he only had about 5 words he said frequently. However, he could say about 45 words and understood a lot more. I thought there was nothing wrong but a speech therapist said he had a speech problem. After about 6 months of seeing the speech therapist his speech improved greatly. Now the question is did the speech therapist help or was it just his time to finally start talking?
If you're really worried you could get your son a speech therapist or take the time to teach him yourself. I recommend teaching him yourself. My son learned almost everything he says from me. Its nice getting tips from the therapist but to me it seems like they are always trying to find something wrong. Not every child developes at the same pace.

no- no worries. totally normal.. are you able to communicate with him? do you recognize his needs? that's all that matters.
try sign language, it helps and is fun.
