She started daycare about 2 months ago and I have noticed she is much thinner then when I took care care of her for 5 months.

Ok for one my breast are huge and ugly! Just like they always get when you get pregnant! but now they are dry! and starting to peel. Is this normal? and does anyone know a good lotion or cream to use to get the nasty peeling dryness away!

My Husband and I had sex on and around the days of a +opk. I am a day late, very sore breasts, I thought I should wait longer for a test, but I couldnt do it. I went and bought first response. Took on early afternoon(didnt have too much pee) and it came back with a faint positive. I mean there are clearly 2 lines, one is just lighter than the other. Should I wait till tomorrow morning and retest before calling and making a doctors appointment, or do you think this could really be it? lol

I called my Dr's office as soon as I missed my period and scheduled the first OB appointment they had available. I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. The Dr. can't see me until next week and I will be 7 weeks pregnant (5 weeks Fetal Development). I am worried because I won't be able to get my prenatal vitamins til then. I have given up caffeine, anything that has aspartame in it, alcohol of course- I never smoked so that wasn't a problem. I avoid saunas, hot tubs, and long baths. I am trying to still walk 5 times a week when the fatigue and vomiting allows because I know it is important.I am trying to eat very healthy and get folic acid through my diet but I am still concerned. My "morning sickness" is pretty regular and hard to cope with but I know it comes with the blessing. Is there anything I should worry about being 7 weeks along before seeing a Dr.? I am 30 and this is my first pregnancy and my husbands first as well. I am just trying to do everything right

She refused the bottle at 7 mts and refused getting back on it
Now she's older and it is hard to feed with a spoon

Was anyone else told not to eat cold cuts unless they are heated up to kill off bacteria that can cause listeriosis ( I believe thats what it is called) My sister just had a baby 4 months ago and her doctor never mentioned this to her, but mine did. Anyone else hear of this?

I plan on getting my tubes tied in june when I have the baby. Teh doctor won't tie my tubes intil 6 weeks after I have the baby. Why I don't know he says that is how they do it.
I am scard to death by the way. Has anyone had the new procudre called Essure?
Or has anyone had there tubes tied? If you had your tubes tied did you experance any pain side effects? I am not to sure what the best choice is to make?

I am 7 weeks pregnant and am trying to eat a balanced healthy diet, although this is hard due to sickness! I really fancy chips and half a bit of fish with my husband tonight. I have not had this for over a month, do you think it will do me any harm? I had a packet of crisps today too?

I've created a character called Super Mom but I need to give her a good catch-phrase to say when she transforms from regular mom, Sally Smith, into SUPER MOM! For instance, Billy Batson says, "Shazam!" to change into Captain Marvel. The only idea I've come up with is lame, it's "By the power of pinesol!" Can you give any better ideas. Thanks in advance! I found out I was pregnant from getting really sick. How soon did you know? I knew like 3 weeks afterwards. That's when I started to get sick. I didn't know how early some of the woman's started. Just curious again. Haha. :)

I am pregnant!! YAY! Anyways, I'm due on 4/25/07. I was just wondering how off the doctor was when he first told you your due date. Such as they go by your first period. I realize that sometimes when you have an ultrasound things can change. I was just curious from all the woman how much things change? Like a week, a couple of days, two weeks... not at all?? I am sure there will be mixed answers on this one. But come ye come all. I'd sure like to know. Everyone woman is unique. Just curious. Thanks.

He is an honor roll student, he excels at sports, he gets notes home that he is helpful and considerate of others. The thing is that when he is home he is short tempered, yells, hits and is selfish and disrespectful. He says hateful things to hurt others feelings, and tells us all the time that his Nana and Papa take better care of him than we do. We have given him more than any child needs materially and I am sure that this has added to the problem, however the things that he has have been rewards for things like his grades or birthday and Christmas gifts. We give give him love, support and encouragement. We are in no way selfish and try to teach all our kids how important it is to be a servant to others, and to be an example. We are simply dumfounded at how he has become this kid we do not recognize anymore.

I am a single mother with a four year old pre-school son. He has been sleeping in his room alone in his own bed for almost 2 years now. He has always liked to sleep with me in my bed, or me in his, or to at least fall asleep with me but I put my foot down and made him sleep in his own bed. Lately however that has all changed and some nights I end up sleeping with him in his bed. In fact I have used it as an incentive to behave in school (he's been having lots of trouble in school) I tell him if he behaves and doesn't get a note home he can sleep with mommy and if not he'll have to sleep alone. This has helped tremendoulously - it has worked better than offering rewards (like a toy at the end of the week) or taking things away (like t.v., etc.). Is there anything wrong w/ co-sleeping at this age? I work 40 hours a week and go to school at night three days a week, I'm afraid that maybe he is missing out on speding time w/ me and this is his way of replacing it? HELP! Thanks.

He is smart and very social. But, he hates school. He hates having to pay attention and learn. His father & I have been divorced for 2 yrs. His father & I do not see eye to eye on how to raise our children. I am up against a brick wall where my son is concerned. Any body have any ideas?

i'm 9 weeks pregnant and i also have a 4 year old. my 8 year old is really violent and doesn't listen to ANYONE i'm always at his school because he is always hurting someone. he tells lies like you wouldn't believe. he has been hurting my 4 year old since birth and now that i'm pregnant again i'm a little scared. my 4 year old is loving and a pretty normal guy. i love ALL of my kids but i'm worried about what my 8 yr old will do to the baby. has anyone gone through this? if you are offering places to contact i'm from toronto, canada.

I went to the gyno today to get a lump in my breast checked out....I am 25...had a baby Feb.2006...breast fed for 3 months....anyway...if I sqeezed my armpit...I had a clear fluid that was sticky come out...also around my areola...only when sqeezed....he didn't say anything to me accept that I was getting a mammogram...lab work for prolactin (milk)....TSH....and galactorrhea which I think is the pituitary glands...my question is...that my mammogram isn't scheduled until December 18...if he thought that it was cancer...wouldn't it be sooner...more than later....what do you think is going on? He really didn't tell me anything?

I believe this is what is going on with my wife. She can't get in to see her doctor until tomorrow. Her period was 9 days late and she was going to test today to see if we were pregnant, but her period arrived yesterday. It is VERY heavy and there is some tissue, as well. She had some back pain and didn't think much of it, as she had back pain during the pregnancy of our son and had no problems. She is pretty upset and I just wanted to see if I could find out anything before her appointment tomorrow. I looked up spontaneous abortion (miscarriage) because she would be 6 weeks and it says it usually happens around this time before the woman even knows she was pregnant, but my wife is very in tune with her body and usually does not have heavy periods like this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am stricter, expect kids to behave. She gives in on everything, buys new toys everyday. Kids need love, discipline, rules, guidelines. She forces religion down his throat but he behaves like a spoiled brat.

She has a 2 year old and a 2 month old. Last night she started having some violent thoughts about her babies, which she regreted the moment she thought them. But she is still really shook up about it and she sounds terrible. Her husband had to stay home from work today because she is so fed up. She's starting to loose it, and isn't open to calling her doctor because she's afraid they'll take the kids or something.
What can I do?
