Oh, honey, don't worry.
You can buy prenatal vitamins at any drugstore, or Wal-Mart, for that matter. You don't need the prescription ones. They're exactly the same.
If you can't get to a drugstore, visit the grocery store. Buy a women's multivitamin and a folic acid supplement. That's all prenatal vitamins are.
It's perfectly fine to be 7 weeks along before a doctor's appointment, too. Lots of women don't have their first visit until 8 weeks.
You're doing absolutely everything right! Don't worry about the visit, get yourself some OTC vitamins, and you'll do great.

I wasnt able to get in to see my doctor until I was 9 weeks pregnant and I found out I was pregnant when i was 6 weeks along. i asked them and they said that any over the counter prenatal vitamins would be just fine so i went to wal mart and bought a bottle of them i think it was 7 bucks or so and that is what i used for the most part of my pregnancy and then i started getting them from my doctor but those ones made me sick to my stomach so I think the ones in the store are just as fine.

Don't worry. You can buy vitamins over the counter at WalMart, etc. I would check with the pharmacist or call your doctor first as he may want to put you on a specifc type after he looks at your bloodwork. I have 2 children and never got my first appointment for several weeks. Relax. You'll do fine.

You are doing everything just right. My Dr. explained to me, when I asked him about taking extra fish oil vitamins (lipil), that most people are "overnourished" not under nourished. You're probably getting all the right foods that you need. Also, he told me that the baby will take what it needs from your body. So, if you're not eating enough calcium, the baby will take it from you. The baby will be fine. And the baby has a lot of growing to do between 7 and 40 weeks that the vitamins you take beginning next week will be just fine.
You're doing things just fine.

Go to walmart and get some generic prenatal vitimins. That's what all my friends do because they don't have insurance and medicade takes a few weeks to kick in. They all work the same and it will ensure that you stay healthy before the appointment.

Pick up some vitamins at the store. They are all the same. Then when you go to the doctor bring the bottle with you. If the doctor wants you to have prescription vitamins they will give them to you. I would just pick up some for now. It will be fine.
Congrats and good luck.
