Try a Rubbermaid "juice box" bottle with a straw.
If you squeeze it a bit, the liquid will squirt right into her mouth. Helps them figure out how it works.
Many breastfed babies do very well with this.

My advice would be to get some sippy cups....get the really bright mabye character kinds. Kids seem to like them better. She will eventually drink out of the sippy cup. Do not give her back the bottle though....Also try having her sip out of regular cups (you hold it though). Kids at this age are trying just about everything. They want to explore all options and give everything at least one try. She'll eventually drink from a cup...don't get frustrated over it, just go with it.

I started my Son on a regular kitchen cup..me holding it of course, at like 9 months he had sippy cups we never used bottles he was nursed up to 13 months but as i started to wean him off at 10 months i alternated between a regular cup and sippy cups he greatly preferred being able to get his drink when he was thirsty...Look your baby will drink when shes thirsty and the whole spoon thing? use those food mesh safety nets to stick fruit into and let her gnaw on that it mimics the look of a spoon(for a baby) and will help guide her into knowing to eat from a spoon and drink from a cup don't force the bottle back to her if you use Avent system its great the spout on the cup is the softest ever and is easy to clean so try putting her formula in there....if she absolutely rejects the bottle...Good Luck

I've heard of that, but not with an 11 month old. I think you just need to give her the sippy cup and nothing else. If she refuses it, she refuses it. But sooner or later she'll give in when she realizes how thirsty she is.

But for real-

Just give the kid a bottle or sippy cup and quit coddling it!! It will drink when it's thirsty. If not, the kid needs to be checked because there is something WRONG with it.
