My Husband and I had sex on and around the days of a +opk. I am a day late, very sore breasts, I thought I should wait longer for a test, but I couldnt do it. I went and bought first response. Took on early afternoon(didnt have too much pee) and it came back with a faint positive. I mean there are clearly 2 lines, one is just lighter than the other. Should I wait till tomorrow morning and retest before calling and making a doctors appointment, or do you think this could really be it? lol

Congrats!! The only thing left to do now is to make an appt. with your doctor to get it confirmed with a blood test and go buy the "What to expect when your expecting" book ( http://www.whattoexpect.com/ ). Best book ever made for pregnant women.

I think congratulations are in order, you can retest but I bet it will be a waste of money, it will come back positive too. Call your dr and make an appointment. My son's line came back very faint too. The point is there were 2 lines. Congrats!

I would say call the doctor and make you appointment -- No matter how faint 2 lines r 2 lines -- If you wanna check again take another test first thing in the morning.

If you wanted you could make an appointment with your doctor and still take a test tomorrow morning. Your doctor may not be able to get you in for a couple days! But I believe you are pregnant! Keep me posted and good luck!

Congrats----sounds to me like the real deal. Usually you won't get a positive on the test unless there is hcG in your system, which means a baby is happening. I wish you the best! Call your doc and if you still can't believe it before your doctor's appt, take another test in about a week.

Congrats!!..... you should call yoru doctor and have a blood test done just to be sure. Make sure you dont over do it for yourself. THe first trimester is the time when your % rate of a misscarriage it really high. Take it easy and enjoy being pregnant. Good luck and best wishes!!

same thing happened to me...took 5 tests and they all came back like this...I now have a 9 month old....it doesn't matter how faint the line is...if it is there it is positive...congrats

You are pregnant the line get darker the more Hcg you produce. I would call your doctor for your comfirmation blood test and start you ob vistits. Congratulations!!

Congratulations new mommy!!! I however took 5 tests just to make sure, then I called the dr. I was obsessed with making sure it was real. Best wishes!!
