my daughter is 19 and i love her but im getting to the point when i look at her now in rage. because she has become so rebellious toward me, im a single parent and has raise her on mine own since she was 5.well lastnight i got up at 1;30am to do lundry. i was up all night. she slept on a cot in the living room never dawn on me that she would'nt be there. so i waited until 7am to wake her up for work. and i kept calling her. and she never answer, so i went over there to the cot and she had the bed made up like she was in it.. i was blow away. when she wasn't there. she came walking in the house at 8am.because i rang her cell phone seem like a thousand time . then she knew she was busted.to get her self out of hot water. she point finger. im so overwelm with her.as a parent i can be a little protective at time. but that because i care what happens to her,she hang around thugs alot. that teach her bad habits.and she is nineteen but not experience. have shelter her from the cold world,

I have a 4 year old that will not sleep in her own room.It has came to the point where i had to put her toddler bed up in my room, cause she would come inand lay i my floor and gp tp sleep. She will not get in the bed with me so i guess that's a good thing. but she is 4 and if i plan on having a baby in the near future i want her to sleep in her room, theres no way a crib an a toddler bed are going to fit in my room. she can go to sleep in my room and then i can pick her up and put her in her room, when i wake up in hte morning there she is in my room. WHAT CAN I DO!!!! do you think that it has to do with being breastfed. because i breastfed her for 3 months when she was first born??? H E L P ............

I'm so desperate, my ds was always good at the breast since he was born, but starting Oct 21st, he has been refusing my breast, would only nurse when I lay him down at night next to me. If I lay like this during the day, he wouldn't even touch it. Tried nurse walking him, tried everything that I could think of, I read online about a nursing strike, but they say that this should only last for about 4 days; it's been 22 days, ds is getting really skinny. We went for his 4th month checkup on the 3rd and I told the ped that he hasn't been nursing well; the ped didn't care to check, he said that as long as he gains 1lb/mth at least then he should be fine. Ds has always been a big boy, even now that hehas lost weight he is still within the normal range so i found that irrelevant. I don't think it's normal that in a day like today for example, he has only nursed once for like 5 minutes and starts arching his back and starts screaming if I even try to nurse longer. Anyone with same problem?

i went to my doctor in 5 nov he told me the i have 4 days and i will finish 2 months.i mean is it 12 to 12 next month mean i finished month or per weeks it will be 28 days...i dont know

this mite sound crazy but first of 26weeks pregnant with twins now to the crazy part i had sex with my boyfriend 5times lastnight and today all i want to do is cry i just feel down for some reason i no all throu my pregnancy ive been sick alot sometimes i have a hard time walking ive been to the doctor 6times this month if that that tells you anything thats just this month thats how bad this pregnancy has been for me i've had 4 other kids and ive never went throu all of this befor the crying being sick all the time and i dont no what to do

Any stories about this? Does it really bring on labour?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and bought some today. But the lady in the shop said you shouldn't really drink it before 38 weeks as it can send you into labour (as a result my BF doesn't want me to drink it yet!)

I thought it was just a tonic to tone you up and get you ready to give birth!

I defiantly know that this isn't right, nor do I approve of it. However, I am kind of between a rock and a hard place right now. My cousin who is a mother of three, decided three years ago when her daughter was two to start spanking with this pvc pipe, I don't think that it was so much her idea it was her husbands who is a total control freak, anyways, she constantly does this, when I am over there it just breaks my heart to watch her do this, and how the kids just scream and call out my name for me to come and "rescue" them so to speak.
My Mom and Dad Spanked us kids too, however these days you just don't do that, not with all of the laws, expecally with this PVC, I have told her I don't like it, in fact I pretty much stormed out one day d/t the fact that I hate the way they raise there kids. I am a mandated reporter, I just don't know if I should get involved being that I am her cousin, and we are very close. I just care so much for the kids....I could really use your opinions.

ofcourse i know it elarges and comes back to size, but mnay docs say the vagina gets large as you go on having babies, and its not the same like before oyu had kids. i asked a few men this and they say its true they can feel the differences with their wives after they give birth and before.

I have a problem I'm confused because i had to partners. I had sex with guy A with no protection. and guy B i did. My doctor said i concieved may18! i had sex with guyA on the 16th but had sex with guyB on the 17th. Who do you think is the father??

I don't know what to do. My 12 month old has had cold like symptoms for over a week and started running a high fever of 104 degrees Monday, we gave him tylenol and it went down but would rise again after just a few hours.
On Tues. we took him to the ER where no tests where done. The doc listened to his lungs looked in his ears and said it looks good so far. He said his throat looks like there may be puss so it's probably strep. He took no strep test. He gave the baby a shot of antibiotic that starts with an r but I cant spell it. I think it sounds like ro*ze*then*ol and prescribed zithromax.
The fever and all symptoms remained the same with the exception of the side effects of antibiotic which included diahrrea and an out of control yeast infection.
Friday night (lastnight) I took him to a different ER convinced the first doc didn't get the diagnosis right. The second doc said it's uncommon for babies of this age group to get strep and it cannot be diagnosed without a strep test. He ordered a blood culture and a chest x-ray. x-rays are good, chest is clear. He says he doesn't see anything life threatning goin on here but we nned to give him a shot of antibiotic (the same one the first doc gave him). I told him he just got that shot tues why are doing this again saturday? He explained that sometimes when people come in to the ER for one illness they will often leave with another contracted while in the waiting room.
I don't agree with giving baby more antibiotic but I allow it, I also followed the second docs advise about not giving baby any more of the zithromax that the first doc prescribed.
Today (day six) he woke up with a fever again, and again I have to constantly give him alternating doses of motrin and tylenol to keep it down. The only change in baby's condition is that now he is wetting his diaper once every 7-10 hours and it's not much. He's not eating so good. He's always hated juice and solid foods but aside from 6 oz of formula I was able to force down only 20cc of apple juice. Hubby is bringing pedialite which will also be forced down buy holding his arms down and holding his head while we push the fluid in his mouth with a medicine dispenser.
I don't know what else to do.
When is enough actually enough? The second doc did say for me to return if his fever doesn't go away in 2 days. But that is EXACTLY what I was doing there, following up since the fever hadn't gone down.
Taking him to his ped. doc isn't an option. My husband changed jobs so we've moved and the old heath insurance is gone as of 10-31-06 and new one becomes effective Jan 2, 2007.
We will greatly appreciate any help with this situation!

My girlfriend has been on the pill for about six months. She always takes her pill @ 6:45pm. Last thursday she forgot to take it at that time. We had sex like 3 hours later. She then remembered 2 hours later she had forgoten her pill. Then next day she took the pil @ the right time and we had sex that night also. What are the chances she could get pregnant? Asking this because she usually gets spotting a day or so before her period and she gets on the sugar pills sunday and she hasn't had any spotting? Any ideas?

Alright so i am three days late and there is no sign that AF is anywhere in sight. I am 16 days past ovulation and still getting a negative on the home pregnancy tests. i took one of those clear blue easy digital read outs and it came up not pregnant but on the stick the second line is very very faint on it you can see it but it is faint. would it still show up not pregnant if there is a faint second line still?? I feel great, not having any nausea but am having spells of dizziness, and my boobs are still hurting and still feel sleepy all the time but other than that I feel great lol. I feel like i did when i was pregnant with my son, but am wondering why the HPT is still coming up negative. i am debating about just going to my doctor either today or tomorrow or maybe even Monday and reqesting a blood test to see. I am hoping that I am pregnant but of course will be a bit upset if not but either way I am not stressing about it. I JUST NEED OPINIONS ON WHAT YOU ALL WOULD DO!!

I have been having sex with my bf of 9 months pretty regularly but am on the pill. We both got tested before we did anything and for the most part have used a condom.I am 19 and he is 34 years old and has a 10 year old daughter already from the past. The year before we met he had a vasectomy done the thing is i have not had my period in two months?At this point we dont really use a condom and i do miss a pill here and there can i be pregnant?even though he has had a vasectomy?

I am 37 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first child. Two weeks ago I began losing pieces of my mucous plug. My OBGYN said this is normal and could mean labor is still a little ways further.

I had my last cervical exam on Wednesday. To my surprise, I was 1 1/2 cm dilated! Since Wednesday, my contractions have been constant. They were too inconsistent to time the first day or so. I finally began timing them yesterday. Now, every 9 minutes, I get a contraction painful or not. This has lasted for almost 24 hours.

My mother said this is normal. She said they are "working" contractions which just means my body is close to the real deal. Honestly, it doesn't make any sense to me. How can I be having consistent, sometimes painful, contractions for days, while my cervix is dilated, and not be in labor???? HELP.

PS. Is it normal to be 1 1/2 cm dilated with your first pregnancy and not be in labor??
