I was wondering because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant, and I didn't know if that would hurt our chances or not. This is the first time I have ever had two periods in one month.

If it was a light spotting or bleeding than normal you could have become pregnant because when you become pregnant when the egg actually implants itself in the uterus than you may actually begin to spot. which is usually about two weeks after conception

Sometimes my period will carry over to the next month, if I start later in the month. Like last month I had my period 3 days into Oct. and than I had started again Oct 24. I have short cycles. Go to www.fertilityfriend.com, they can help answer other questions. I chart there, good group..

Depending on the history of your periods, it could be normal. If you always had periods the same time every month, no it isn't normal, but if you were always irregular, it is something that happens from time to time. I've had irregular all my life and gone from cycles that were 15 days apart to 45 days apart. It took me 2 yrs to get pregnant both times but all is normal otherwise. After my 2nd pregnancy, I took birth control only to regulate my periods so I could prevent any 'surprise' accidents in my busy life. Check with your Dr just to be safe though. Good luck!

Yes, it's possible. When I got my period back, 12 months after giving birth, my period came every 2 1/2 weeks. It was the strangest thing. But after I went back to the regular birth control pill I was taking before getting pregnant, my period returned to normal.

Your cycles do no longer bypass via what share you have in a month... Your cycles bypass via what share days are between bleeds. (1st day of bleeding till your next era 1st day) Its considered customary to have a 28 day cycle, however the traditional selection is everywhere between 26-36 days. So there is not any ought to stress, you had a 29 day cycle.

No ... a 14- or 15-day cycle is way too short to allow for conception. Are you definitely having two periods, or is one of them some other kind of bleeding, perhaps?

Either way, I would go see your ob/gyn.

Could you be experiencing implantation bleeding? It doesn't sound like the right time, but if your periods haven't been normal, it is possible you are pregnant and the zygote is burying itself in the wall of the uterus.

as you get older your cycle changes, or perhaps you timed it wrong. you ovulate a week after your last day of your period, keep trying
