My little one is still up about 2 to 3 times a nigth feeing anywhere from 6 to 8 ounces each time ....... I feed him rice cereal and then formula before bed about 8 pm , then he is up at 11 11:30 , and again usually about 4 am . I'm a f/t working mom and I'm pooped ........

My husband and I just found out that we are pregnany with our first child. We are looking for some fun ideas about how to tell our parents that we are expecting. This will be the first grandchild for my parents and the 3rd for my husband's parents. We live in a different state, but will be going to visit them on Thanksgiving. We want to share the news with them. We think this is a wonderful thing to be thankful for!

I just stopped taking the birth control pill in attempt to conceive my first child. I didn't have any side effects while on the pill, however, after over a month of being off, I have found that I have rather undesireable side effects. I find that I am more emotional, I have extremely oily hair by the end of a day (something I've never experienced) as well as a lot of facial oil (again abnormal for me). I'm just wondering if these nasty side effects are short term, or should I start thinking about how to deal with them over a long period of time. My other question is a poll, about how long it took after stopping the birth control pill, for most of you to become pregnant. Thanks for your time. Any helpful information would be more than appreciated!

My bf and i have been together on and off for 8 yrs we met in 7th grade and went out through high school and college. I am 21 yrs old and he is 22 yrs old now and i will be graduating from college within the next few months and so will he.I felt like it was time to make a commitment so i brought up the question of marriage and he proposed three weeks later now after 4 months of being engaged i find out he hates children and has made an appointment to have a vasectomy done!I feel very hurt i have always wanted children of my own and am a family oriented person and from a big family . I want to have my first child at 24 or 25 years of age and a second child at 27 or 28 years of age. I have tried to talk to him but he says he is just not that way?what to do?

I'm 17 and I study in high-school.My daughter R. is 3 years old.Her father is unknown.We live with my mother(I don't have any other relatives).My mother works all day and I go to school.We don't send R. to kindergarten because I prefer to spend more time with her.But recently she is obstinate and her behavior is driving me mad.She is probably bored being alone at home for 6 hours while I'm at school but that doesn't mean she has to behave like that.She doesn't listen to me.I punish her,spank her,I do anything and she still doesn't listen.Any ideas how to make her listen to me?

I am 4 months pregnant and I was thinking I was feeling the baby move before but just a few seconds ago I felt two big thunks under my belly button. I am pretty certain I am just 16 weeks according to my husband and the doctor. I don't consume a lot of caffeine so I have heard it was okay if you drank one cup of coffee as long as it wasn't Starbuck's or something because they contain a lot more caffeine. I think maybe this got my baby moving. I almost bet that if I would have caught it in time I could have felt it with my hand. I am very thin. I was 94 pds when I got pregnant and I am around 100 pds now. That maybe be factoring in also. And by the way no I wasn't anarexic! lol

By the way I ussually drink water, milk, and OJ, instead of coffee or soda so I am being very careful.

My son is 2 and 2 months and he still does not say a word. I have done so many test to see whats goin on and theres nothing wroung with him, he graves my hand and pulls me or gives me what he wants, that's his way of comunicating, other than that he does not say any words not even mami or daddy, I'm very upset by this and he has been seeing a speach therapist for the pass 5 months and all I see out of him isa more eye contact but still no words...I don't know what to do.

I also want to start teaching him to use the potty but how can I when he doesnt even talk ?

No perticuliar reason...we were kinda talking about it at work last night...no one really seems to know...and I know that not everyone gets sick, and others have like all this energy and crap. But for those that do...I'm just curious.
