Yes that is normal to feel the baby move now. You are very thin, so you should be able to feel the baby move by hand before most people would. I am 21 weeks pregnant with my third child, and with everyone of them, OJ makes them move a lot. Congratulations, and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!
Don't listen to this women above me, you can safely drink up to two cups of coffee a day. If your doctor says its OK, and most do, your baby will be fine, only excessive amounts of caffeine will harm your baby, and that's not ONE cup of coffee.

I felt my baby move for the first time at exactly 16 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. They say thinner women feel there babies move earlier (I'm not thin either). Every woman, pregnancy, and baby are different. Maybe you have an active little critter or perhaps you will have a big healthy baby. I wouldn't worry about the dates being off. If you have had an ultrasound, then the doctor would have already adjusted your due date according to the size of the baby. They don't do that too much further on because babies grow fairly consistently at the beginning, but there is a big margin of difference between each baby later in the pregnancy. Congratulations!

It is perfectly normal to feel your baby move at this stage. I'm 18 weeks and i have been feeling my baby move for 2 or 3 weeks. also it is okay to drink coffee. You can have a small amount my doctor told me no more than 2 cups of coffee a day. Try to limit the amount you have but you don't have to stay away from it. Good luck

You didn't say if you have had any previous pregnancies. Usually after the first, you feel the baby sooner. Also, thin women usually feel it sooner than larger women. Remember, that gas can often be mistaken for baby kicks. Most of the time the first movements you will feel are like butterflies or bubbles that tickle you. The kicks don't usually get stronger until you are further along because the baby isn't large enough. It is possible though. Good luck.

Every person is different in pregnancy and I'm sure you are feeling the baby. Caffeine is not the only thing that would make the baby move like crazy. Every time I ate a meal my kids would kick up a storm. My sister in law is just as thin as you and she showed more earlier than myself and she could feel her kids move at that stage too. Good luck and enjoy the most wonderful feeling you could ever have!

Yes that is normal. I started feeling my baby at 16 weeks, and Caffeine is ok to drink in moderation. 300 and something milligrams of caffeine a day is fine. I cant remember the exact number. But I have a coke or two a day. This is my 4th pregnancy.

I felt my toddler kick final week, which became into 21 weeks. he's continuously shifting and he merely kicked me in my arm, when I had my arm over my abdomen. MY first son, did not infrequently pass, I have been given like dissimilar ultrasounds for reassurance with him that he became into nevertheless alive, with the aid of fact he became into like a bump on a log, till 2 am, then he could turn over, and my abdomen could roll and sense wierd. It became into humorous, yet this 2nd toddler is a mover!!!

caffeine is NOT ok to drink during pregnancy.. it is concidered a teratogen... which are harmful to the fetus
"Caffeine is known to be a teratogen which means it can produce birth defects. When a pregnant woman ingests caffeine the fetus is exposed and more effected by the drug because of its smaller size. "
be careful what people tell you on here.. no advice is as good as what you can get from your doctor
and yes.. its perfectly normal to feel your baby moving around at this stage :)

I worked right next to a Starbucks and I drank their decaf often, and my son is healthy. Now the kicking, well lil one is testing his limits, boundaries, seeing how big his apartment is you know, lol
for me I learned to tell when baby was awake, asleep or hungry, there were different kicks, tune into your baby's kicks and interpret them. It helped me bond with my child early, best of luck to you and yours :-)
