My girlfriend has been on the pill for about six months. She always takes her pill @ 6:45pm. Last thursday she forgot to take it at that time. We had sex like 3 hours later. She then remembered 2 hours later she had forgoten her pill. Then next day she took the pil @ the right time and we had sex that night also. What are the chances she could get pregnant? Asking this because she usually gets spotting a day or so before her period and she gets on the sugar pills sunday and she hasn't had any spotting? Any ideas?

That seems really really unlikely, if she infact, only missed it by a couple hours, however, and not to alarm, I missed mine (back in the days that they were much much stronger) for two days and I now have a grown up son as a result. It is almost imposssible over just a coulpe hours, I am sure she isn;t preggers but just be careful. Be nice to her too, these things make girls grumpy!!!!! good luck.

Well quit worrying and go buy a "Pregnancy Kit" - they are 100% accurate, and as soon at the next day! The more you worry, the more she will worry and that will stop her cycle. It doesn't take much stress to upset the hormones in a woman. I doubt it myself, but your just as responsible, once you knew she missed the pill, the next night you should have wrapped-up! If this is the first time your girlfriend has been on the "pill" - (6-mos) - then there is a strong possibility that she might conceive. Buy the after the "night" pill, the Pharmacist will know what they are, and I don't think you need a Rx. Be Much More Careful you guys, there are too many unexpected children in our world as it is. And abortion is not the answer, you both are!

I took my birth control every day at the same time for a very long time and never missed a dose. Guess what? I had a beautiful baby boy.

as long as she has been regular and not missed taking it on time for awhile then she should be OK for just missing the dosage by a few hrs. majority rules....try to think of it that way than the miss dose
