acute addomen in pregnancy can be due to many causes. Some like acute appendicitis , twisted ovarian cyst warrant a surgery irrespective of period of gestation .Other conditions like fibroids should be managed conservatively.
red degeneration of fibroid is a type of change in fibroid occuring commonly in 2 nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy .It should always managed be conservatively with antibiotics and analgesics . surgery should never be contemplated.
