i was told that i ovulated the 21 or the 22 of this month and like three days ago my nipples started to hurt and my period isnt due till the 5th of nov or 31 days since 5th of oct so i have been pregnant before and that was the earliest sign for me b4 but i lost the baby had a misscarriage!!! but what im saying is i dont get sore boobs or nipples before or during my period. and im asuming thats quick symptom happening soon just a week or so after ovulating.... but please give your thoughts and experiences ans please no rude comments!!! so yeah that was my first sign b4 when i was pregnant b4. ~thank you

I recently met my boyfriend's sister and her three year old daughter "Kayla" for the first time. I am a teacher who has experience with autistic children, and Kayla showed every single classic symptom of a child with rather severe autism. The family seems to know that something is "off" with her, but finds ways to justify her behaviors. I made a small check list of Kayla's behaviors and carefully brought up my observations to my boyfriend, who seemed really surprised but after looking through my books on autism agreed with me. However, he absolutely does not want to bring anything up to his sister. I certainly don't feel comfortable saying anything, but she really needs to get Kayla evaluated so she can start getting her help. Any ideas on what to do?

My son will go down in his bed but in the middle of the night after I'm asleep he'll sneak in and I won't realize this until morning. What can I do to change this? The bad part is most of the time I don't even realize it until morning. He does this about 90% of the time. Help!

I would have been ovualting sometime this week, and I have really sore breasts. Why is this?. Has anyone experienced really sore breasts after concieving?.
I am just wondering thats all!

oct 27th I was 37 wks 6 days & my doc said i was 3cm dilated 90% effaced 0 station i know all pregnancies r diff. & unpredictable but, my doc said i could have her any day now & that i might or might not make it to my next appointment next wk. what do u think? sum people tell me they went from 3cm to 10 very quickly others say it took wks but since shes 0 station & 90% effaced do my chances of having her b4 a week seem accurate? cos sum people say not to let the doctor get your hopes up ,that they say soon but u end up waiting longer..idk this is my first pregnancy & everything has been A okay, no preclampsia no talk about c section or inducing, shes extremely healthy but i havent had n e contractions, or at least if i have i havent noticed..so I know theres no real answer but id just like to hear others expereices i guess. thx

I just took a pregnancy test and it has an extremely faint line. The date of conception would be last sunday (only 7 days ago) I have been dizzy all week. Is it possible for a positive result to show up so fast? Please help!!

I had a emergency c-section due to the fetal distress. I am worried that if my ob cut baby's cord before he cried. I heard the cry right away when he was out.

I have read that baby can have a shock if the cord got cut before he cires. Some relates early cutting to Autism, ADD and all. Is there rule for doctors about when to cut the cord?

My parents are cool with everything, so it's not a prob convincing them. (as long as i keep my grades up) the thing is, i'm not sure if i am ready. there's this one guy i like who is 14. he's deeply religious. he's a nice freshman. i believe he is responsible. we would NOT do anything above w/e we can handle.

i skipped 3 grades, so i'm a junior right now. i'm not 'pressured' into doing anything at the moment, dating-wise. it's just that my friends, who are 16 and 17, are dating and seem to enjoy it. i honestly believe that i am as mentally (if not physically) mature as my best friends. (don't get me wrong, i'm not like...an underdeveloped 13 yr old) we talk about stuff that's interesting to us all, not just them or me.

do you think i'm ready? or will i just 'know' when i am?

She's 3 months old now and I've been strictly bf'ing her. Now it's time for me to go back to work. The problem is that she wants mommy mommy mommy ALL THE TIME. I'm not complaining though. I am constantly in close contact with her, whether it's feeding time, reading time, play time, tummy time, etc. The problem is I can't leave her with anyone else or she'll cry her guts out, no one can seem to calm her down until I take her away from them. We've done dry runs already with her caregiver just so she can get some exposure before I start working but she just absolutely dislikes it. Even her own daddy cant get her to calm down. I'm running out of ideas, I don't know what else to do. Did I get her too used to being held by me? Probably so, but anyone else have this situation?

HI!! I have a 6 yr old. She thinks that things go her way all the time. She has been mean to other children, and family. She is very bossy and it drives me crazy... We also have problems at school where she acts like she dont know how to do anything. At home all she wants to do is watch TV. She wont let me read to her, help her with her homework. NOTHING... I have taken most of her things from her because she doesnt listen to me. What can I do?? Someone please help........

well i got to hear my baby's heart beat, it was a nice strong beat at 164 p/m. so i have heard that if the baby's heart beat is over 160 its going to be a boy and if under this number its a girl. personally i dont read much into these "folk tales" but at times i wonder. i have also heard that if a pregnant women craves salty foods its a boy and if she craves sweets its a girl (im always craving spicy, salty, and sour foods) another one that i heard is if the expectent mother gets sick early on its a boy and if she doesnt get sick from the start its a girl. so what are some other things you have heard? and you think these are more fact, fiction, or just made up folk tales?
