awsome! How great for the mom of a child that can show them they are loved! She he not need the same affection that he needed when he was 3? He is growing but still a child.

It depends, My 16 year old son hugs and cuddles me, but its short and a kiss on the head, I love he will still give me a hug and kiss, but it's always very brief.

when i was a young teen i wanted to sit on my dad's lap. his fiance at the time wouldnt allow it because she thought it was sexual, when really i just wanted to show him i cared and loved him. children shouldnt feel ashamed to show their parents love, youll wish they did more when there older and live hundreds or thousands of miles away and only call once a month. if theyre not being inapropriate, be happy that they love you as much as they do. It will make them kinder people if they know you care

I feel that its going to be really hard for you boy to find the right woman. Because if the woman he meets is not like you then, the hell with him. He loves his mommy and he still feels that he is your baby. Now please tell me what are you doing because my seven year old tells me I can't hug him or kiss him because girls will see. Why can't he just be my baby

My son is 11 and he is extremely lovable. he always hugs, kisses and cuddles with me...I think it just shows that a mom and child share a special bond.
