Why is it that the last child gets away with everything? I qm the oldest and I cought hell growing up, my little sister get's away with everything that I used to get smacked for. The same thing is going on with my kids. My youngst child has a problem with throwing things but I kind of let it go, cause truth be told.....He has a good arm!

My son was born last month and has brownish-auburn hair. My fiance has the blackest hair imaginable and I have black hair. We cannot figure out why he has almost reddish hair. Any ideas? And please no smart *** answers..yes, the baby is his in absolute surety. He was born a month early, although I cannot see what that would have to do with it.

gave birth to it at home and didn't register it, and home schooled it, then it would be an adult with no identity in the eyes of the government? Would you get in trouble? Is it possible?
I am not saying I would ever do this I just wonder about it....

My 4th grade daughter has been lying about her homework. She keeps saying that she doesn't have any homework. She was doing this for 1 and half weeks without me noticing and then her teacher calls me and tells me that Kat ( my daughter) hasn't been turning in homework. I am starting to feel so sad about the whole thing. What kind of punishment should I giver her so that she stops this? How should I handle the situation?

I havent had a period in 11 months because i had the depo shot last october 2005. I've seen the doctor and he said everythings fine with me...that its just the depo...well i bought some vitex (chasteberry) my question is how long do you take it til your periods supposed to start? im really hoping itll only be a month or 2 and maybe start? what do you think?

i had a health teacher in like the 9th grade who told us she had this thing inside of her so she can't have a baby or a period. how does that work and what is it?

it wasn't her getting her tubes tied. she said it was some kind of thing that looked like a T.

My son and I were invited to a birthday party for a child in his music class. We only see them during this class once a week and have known them for about a month. I don't want to hurt the mom's feeling by not going - she is new in the area and doesn't have much family in this country - but I don't want to spend much on a child I hardly know.

I have a 2 year old son, with a man who (up till this point) didn't want anything to do with us. Now he comes back, he wants visitation. but no responsibility, no financial aid, and no strings.
we've had problems in the past with his drug use and stealing, (i don't know why i dated him in the first place) and i dont know if this has trully stopped or if he's just hiding it. So far I've given him pictures... but I don't know what to say when he asks me if he can come over... except to say not until his court date is over.
Is there nothing else i can do?

I understand that the baby is better than a pump at emptying your breasts, and I have tried everything to getting my supply higher. My labor was horrible everything went wrong and after my milk supply never fully came in. I was given a prescription for a hospital grade breast pump at 5 days post partum and was told to pump after every feeding every two hours. My baby seems hungry alot and cries so my hubby supplements after feedings with formula. she wont take the bottle from me which breaks my heart when my hubby is at work and she cries. After taking mothers milk tea and a prescription of reglan to increase my milk supply i have broken into an allergic reaction and have had hives for over two weeks that drive me crazy. I have had my hubby give her the bottle and just pumped to see what I could get and usually its no more than 2 to 3 ounces total. My baby is 6 wks and 10lbs and will take 4 ounces from a bottle. I worry so much.

I'm not just talking about intelligence, but emotional I.Q. as well. If so, do you have any evidence to support this? I do not believe that spanking is an effective parenting tool. It affects kids cognitive problem solving abilities among their peers. Some turn into manipulative, dominating adults.

I do not define spanking as an attention -getting swat. I'm referring to a series of swats.

I was suppose 2 get my period on the 23rd and it has still not come on the 25th I took a dollar store test and it was negetive should I retest now or should I wait. I have been having cravings, some headaches, discharge, sore breast. Just wanted some advice from people who know what is going on.

The doc. schedualed a ultrasound for Monday because he said he thinks the baby is to big to fit into my birth canal. He has dropped just not fully because his head is big and he weighs alot, and I am to petite to fit him. So I have an ultrasound at 1 on monday and an appointment right after, they think that I will need to schedual a c-section right away. I had been having sharp pains and the nurses have wrote it off a thinking it was a bladder infection when my doc. said in fact it was him trying to move down and he cant. So he will either be here on monday or tuesday. How bad are c-sections compared to natural labor? Im kind of scared because I didnt even think of that as an option because they kept saying he is so healthy and I am doing fine. Well he is still healthy just to big for me, which is weird cause I dont have gest. diabetes. some advice about c-sections please

About the birds and bees with kids.? I have a 9yr boy and 8yr girl we havent ever talked about it, my son has asked how do babies get out and I told him from the womens vagina and thats all he said my daughter hasn't asked anything.. I have been told wait until they ask you, but I am not sure about that cause what if they dont and learn from someone else who gets it wrong?? My sister has kids the same age and they know everything about everything sex,periods,kissing, etc etc... I haven't even told my daughter about her getting her period...

I am a little scared as well I learned everything from reading a book or listening to my brothers cause my mom and dad NEVER talked to us about it, they said live and learn make your own mistakes..

So I am just curious when I should start and how much do I let them know?? Thank you

About me: Im hispanic...sorry maybe I dont write very well but what I feel is like frustrated because there is nothing to do, I was coming back from charlotte with my baby 1.1/2, when a old fligth Att. came to my baby several times. Check this out, she said: ''you're going terrify my fligth'', she took us those free magazines because my bb is going to rip, to see my baby and fasten her seat belt so hard, if she cry we are out, to tell me "Its just one hour more", fasten again, and at the end when she did that, my bb cried and she said you alredy stress me up, my bb crying, screeming, when then she tried to seat my bb telling me you better do something, in that moment one passenger deffended to me (first trauma for my bb)I think that woman just wanted my baby keep her fasten all that fligth. Even I told her I work for the same company as you, to see she's going to leave alone but it was worse and never saw in my life how many times a flight At. come to you without you call her.
