Usually when you are due for your period the breasts do become tender and appear to be bigger, but this also depends on your cycle and your history. Have you had any babies before? I wouldn't worry about it just yet. I fyou still don't get them after another week or so go to the doctors and they will give you a free test there. Hope to have been some help to you.

1 day late isnt enough to call it a pregnancy scare...sometimes your period can shift to another time of the month..the breast being sore can be because its time for you to come on, and so can the cravings...you can just have a case of pms...have you ever heard of thinking yourself into having syptoms? its true...sometimes you can think you are pregnant and actually psych yourself into thinking you're having symptoms...anyway...you are 41 yrs old, are trying to get pregnant? if not...you are old enough to know that you should be taking better precaution

One day doesn't mean anything. Even women who are very, very regular can miss a day here or there. The body isn't a clock.
The soreness is probably unrelated. Tell him to take it easy next time :)
If you still haven't had a period this time next week, get a pregnancy kit.

Wait two to three days, and if your period doesn't show up, use a home pregnancy test with your first pee in the morning. There is a possibility that you are pregnant.

Well if your as regular as I was (Im 10 weeks pregnant) then there is a pretty good chance you are. But wait a couple of days and see what happens. There are other things that can cause you to be late.

I would wait anoter wek until I test. 1 day late really isnt that bad. my period was never late until last month. It was 5 days late and I wasted 15 bucks on a test!

At your age you need to get a home test and find out quickly because you are at great risk (due to age) during pregnancy.
