Why do you want to do that? Just enjoy his progress on his own, and don't worry too much about trying to push those milestones. It will be much healthier in the long run for you and for your baby.

You don't need to help him, he will roll over when he is ready to do so. Between 5-6 months is pretty common for babies to begin rolling over, but there are babies who roll earlier and some that roll later. If he is getting frustrated by trying and can't quite do it, then you can tuck his arm under and gently roll him over so he can get the feel of what it should feel like. It is quite common for babies to get their arm stuck under them when rolling and it doesn't harm them any to fuss a bit and struggle before having mom or dad come to the rescue.

I would try not to worry kids are different and some do skip stages, my cousin has 1 year old twins one is walking and the other doesnt even crawl yet! She just watches her sister, the doctors have said she will do it when she is ready. My own daughter walked at 10 months but my son was 15months and I started to worry but he got there in the end. The important thing is that you are aware and you work on it with him, you are doing the right thing already so just keep on as you are! Good luck from one Mum to another...

it'll take time for them to roll on thier own. I have a 9 month old and he started to roll when he was 6 months old. you can help them by laying him/her on the floor on their stomach him/her might get mad but its normal and they might roll over on their own. if not show them that they can.

My first two never did roll over. I gave lots of tummy time and they just never cared to roll over. Then they crawled by 7m and walked by 10m.

Lay him on his side and see if he can learn to lean a little and roll over. You can't really help them that much, but you could try that I guess.

When he is awake and its play time put him or her on his or her belly. Leave them there for awhile to get exercise. Even after the fuss for awhile it will not hurt them. They"ll get to rolling back and forth and pretty soon over they go.

Let your baby have lots of tummy time. I think that is what you have to do.
