I'll be 36 weeks Sunday and I've been having a lot of pelvic pressure/pain which a lot people have suggested might be the baby dropping. (I go to the doctor Tues - guess I'll find out for sure then).
The main sign is that you feel like you can breathe again and you don't feel as short winded.

You'll know. When I was pregnant I felt sick all day long. Things just didn't feel right. It's usually about 37/38 weeks that you drop. When you look at yourself, the baby is way lower than it used to be, and you feel like you are walking with a basketball between your knees.

Honestly, I don't really know. Sometimes, babies don't drop at all. My first was born at 41 1/2 weeks via c-section. He never did drop, and neither did my second.

It could happen anytime between now and when you are in labour. You will know when the baby drops... You can feel it,a nd you will just know.

you'll feel more pressure lower and you really start to waddle when you walk.
