Pregnancy & Parenting - 23 October 2006

I'm due in 6 weeks and we live in a two bedroom house. One room is ours (husband and I's) the other one belongs to my two year old daughter. When should they be put in the same bedroom should I put the two of them in the same bedroom right away or should I keep the baby in our room for awhile. If and when I do put them in the same room how is it going to affect my 2 year olds sleep. We do have a video baby monitor so I'm not really scared about the two year old disturbing the baby. Any ideas.

So we are TTC and my ovulation fell around Oct 6-9. I have a 25 day cycle that has been 25 days right on for 8 months now. I have really felt pregnant, did a few tests, negative. So I figured I wasn't and just expected my period to start, not stressing. Well, today its 3 days late. I did another hpt this morning, BFN(ClearBlue eassy digital), still no period. I have had cramps on and off, since ovulation, sore boobs, and a sudden dislike for coffee.(which happened with my son, but I tested posative at 15DPO) Thoughts?

my son was never quite sleeping thru the night...but i had him to one wake up that was 5 to 10 min long...now at 9 months all of the sudden...he is waking like 3 times and crying for longer stretches...i suppose he is practicing pulling up and moving?? this happen to anyone else?

o.k. now I know that I'm going to be an aunt again (well a cousin) to some twins or more...I must give my cousin some nice names for her babies. We don't know the sex of them or how many exactly. She wants to go with something that starts with an A and her name starts with a N. She doesn't want Aaliyah for a girl...She likes Taylor, and Sydney but he hates Sydney for a boy. I have 6mth old boy who recently started crying everytime we put him on his car seat. Now, I think it's because he is uncomfortable in the car seat. He has an infant car seat that I have put the strats as far as they go and it's still a tight fit when I put him in it. I purchase another car seat but now for bigger size that is both rear-forward facing and it also reclynes. I am changing it today so wish me luck that my problem will be solve. Really, I am just looking to see if anyone had experience a familiar problem or do you think it's something else?

i was at his hotel room alone and we were kissing this time he shirt was off and he took of mine and then he went into my skirt and was fingering me and his pants was off too then i tried to push back but he wouldnt stop i pushed back again and he stopped this time and i told him i wasnt ready. then he said when will u be!? i said "not today" softly. he said i had to go cause he was gonna hav company. but just to think about it.

I was diagnosed with gestostial diabetes with my daughter but took no medication, 4 years after her birth diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, took medicane for 1 year but I no longer have to.Just have to watch what I eat and exercise. I now want to have another baby just wondreing if it's safe for me, don't want to die giving birth!

My husband and I are getting pregnant in February, and I'll be checking my LH levels, taking temerature and whatnot. I'm sure I ovulate 14 days after my first day, (checking my secretions) but a cycle is considered first day bleeding through next first day, correct? Thanks.

My little boy is 3yrs old, He has a normal life lives with mummy and daddy and his twin baby sisters. He goes to play group 3 times a week. But for the past thew months he has started getting really aggressive, he swears, smacks, spits and he finds it very hard to listen. Someone suggested he may have something called A.D.H.D, but cant get tested untill he is five, I cant wait this long, he's only 3 and he's really going to hurt someone!! Please Help!

mostly lovely answers, but I got slammed by a couple, one for "ruining my life" and another because since I can;t afford to put minutes on my phone card it means I am unfit to be a mother of three children.

I would happily classify myself as poor, but, My family has full bellies, a roof over their heads, and clothes that fit them. We are not getting welfare or food stamps or medical assistance. My children have love bursting out of their ears at every turn, but they don;t have the latest gadget or the newest doll that pisses her pants when you tug on her ear.

In my opinion, a child needs only what they NEED and occasionally what they want. Time and attention are more important than spending 600 dollars on toys and the latest clothes.

Am I alone in thinking this way or do other people feel this way to?

I was a week late with my period my boyfriend and I had sex I woke up the next day a little sore by mid-afternoon I started to bleed light the next day it was heavy and by the next day I woke up and it was gone. for the past week I have been feeling really tired, my breast feel swollen but dont really hurt, I also have lite cramps above my hair line. I do go to the bathroom alot more lately. I was pregnant once before but misscarried a 2 months. I dont dare hope since I want a baby and have tired and have not gotten pregnant since that time. I know I feel different but it could be anything. since I had that bleeding I thought maybe not but since i am not feeling right I was hoping there could be a possiblity I might be. Has anyone had this problem or know anything that might help. I know I should take a test but afraid I will find out I am not.

My wife is considering exclusively pumping to make sure our baby gets enought to drink/eat..becasue she constantly falls asleep on her breast. The lack of knowledge if she is getting enough food is also stressing my wife bigtime. Any suggestions? The baby seems to drink better with a bottle. We use advent newborn size 1 nipple.

If you child is teething, what is an acceptable fever? I know that they have low-grade fevers as a common symptom of teething. What is considered low-grade? Seems like our day care sends our kid home a lot for running fevers and I think it's probably just him teething since we see other symptoms (finger in mouth, slightly runny nose, red cheeks...).

I know this doesn't really have anything to do with parenting/pregnancy, but I figured alot of people in this section might know. Has anyone seen the commercial for Rice Krispies with the little kids eating cereal with their moms? In the background, it's the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" but it's a different version of it. It's somebody "ooooh-ing" and it's kind of slow. Does anyone know who sings that version of it? It's a really beautiful verson of it and I'd like to have it. Thanks.

he will pee in the potty and toilet just fine but he says he is "scared" of the potty. He wears underwear all day and only wears a pull up to bed. But when he has to poop, he will frantically search for a place to hide and he gets a pull up and puts them on and poops in them. but he will wait untill one of us is busy and then he does it. We have litterally tried EVERYTHING and nothing seems to be working. we tried taking the pullups away all together that he just got so constipated we had to go to the doctor. Im litterally at my wits end with this one.
