I am still struggling with it. What helps me (sometimes) is drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast in the morning before I get out of bed...I just kida sip on it for like 30 min...if I feel like I am ok, then I can eat something else. But for the most part, I do get sick and heave a lot. I am sorry I am going through it too. I am 10 weeks and I have a feeling I am not going to be over it anytime soon. I started getting sick at 5 weeks. Good Luck and best Wishes...and Congrats! :)

Sorry you are going through this! Morning sickness is the worst. Hopefully you are a first trimesterer though. I didn't start getting sick until I was about 12 weeks, I am now 27 weeks and still going strong with the quesies, and the early morning nausea. Although it is lessening. I put my feet on the ground before getting out of bed and sit there for a minute before moving, I read in my pg book that this helps, and it does, but the best thing is eating a couple saltine crackers before I even get out of bed. Although I sometimes still get sick, it has helped a lot. Also, I don't know where you live, but at motherhood maternity stores they sell "pregger pops" and those help me a lot with the all day nausea. Good luck! Just wait until the heartburn and frequent bathroom trips kick in! It's all worth it though right! ; )

Yeah, that's how I am right now. I have to wait until lunch when my stomach starts to calm down. I'm 9 weeks and hoping it goes away in the next few weeks. I drink water during the morning and I find that helps. Also, try room temperature Sprite, 7-UP or even coke worked the best for me last time. Good luck, and remember, you get to hold the little bundle of joy that's causing this :)

Every day up until the middle of my second trimester..... I couldn't eat anything until after I puked (first thing in the AM). The smell of peanut butter made me sick too.... but I CRAVED peanut butter and marshmellow sandwiches. Long as I didn't smell them, I was fine.

With my first pregnancy I would get sick from certain foods...my second pregnancy I ate things high in carbohydrates in the morning which is good for morning sickness...ginger ale and saltine crackers by your bedside are good...before you even get out of bed just nibble the crackers and drink some ginger ale..that might help...also- peppermint is good for queeziness....

Anything that smelled like ketchup would make me queasy. It lasted about 9 weeks for the ketchup smell to pass, yet the ironic thing was that I craved ketchup while I was pregnant yet the smell made me sick.

I was sick throughout my pregnancy, but it was my first. People say it's not so bad the second time. Though, what do they know; they also said things get easier.
