So we are TTC and my ovulation fell around Oct 6-9. I have a 25 day cycle that has been 25 days right on for 8 months now. I have really felt pregnant, did a few tests, negative. So I figured I wasn't and just expected my period to start, not stressing. Well, today its 3 days late. I did another hpt this morning, BFN(ClearBlue eassy digital), still no period. I have had cramps on and off, since ovulation, sore boobs, and a sudden dislike for coffee.(which happened with my son, but I tested posative at 15DPO) Thoughts?

Sometimes your cycle change and you ovulate later than you think. My LMP was 4/15/06 and I took 4 pregnancy tests in May, early June and ALL were negative. I took a blood test eventually, and it showed positive, but it still took another week before a urine test came up positive. I got pregnant towards the end of May, but by my period, I should have ovulated 3 weeks earlier than that.

Sometimes our cycles change and we dont know it. If you were sexually active and didn't use birth control, you could just be off with your dates. You may try getting a blood test from your dr, or wait another 2 weeks and if you are pregnant it should come up by then.

It's possible you got pregnant on a day other than the day you ovulated. It IS possible, and I know it for a fact! I got pregnant the very day my period was due.....tested negative for 2 weeks. I talked to my OBGYN about it, and YES you can get pregnant any time of the month, the days you ovulate only have the highest possiblity. So, it's possible it's just too soon. Wait it out a little longer and test again. I was finally about 3 weeks late, and three weeks along when I fianlly got a positive test. I knew I was, so I kept at it lol. My daughter was only 9 months old at the time, so I knew all too well what it felt like to be pregnant! Good Luck

Hon. Just call your doc. You can take them a urine sample and they can run a test for you. Also, they can take blood which will be much more accurate. Don't stress too much. You can wait another few days and test again if you like. Keep in mind that every pregnancy is different. And just bc you tested positive at a certain time with one does NOT mean it will all be the same the second, third, or fourth time around. Most women I know say their pregs have all been very different.

It sure sounds like you could be pregnant. According to my pregnancy wheel..With a 25 day cycle you probably won't get a "For Sure" positive until October 30. You may be testing too early. Many women have that "I just know I am pregnant" feeling even when the test is negative and they are usually right. Do you feel that way? Good luck and best wishes!

The SAME thing happened to me with baby #2. I was expecting my period and it wasn't there. . .took a test, it was neg. I felt pregant. On day 44 I STILL didn't have my period and the test was STILL neg. .. the next day it was possitive. . .turns out I ovulated late that month. The home tests pick up the hcg horomone at about 14 days after conception. Maybe you ovulated late? Good luck!!!

It may be too early to see if the hormones have been released into your body, but the more efficient way to test is to get a blood test at the doctors office. BUT, tests can always be wrong... I was pregnant with my daughter and took a test and it said negative... so I went out and got drunk... luckily she came out fine!

Congratulations! But seriously, try taking the test the minute you wake up in the morning. If you are pregnant, more of the hormone will be present at the first urination of the day.

Assume yourself pregnant until proven otherwise. First trimester is the most important time period for fetal development. If you are not taking prenatal vitamins - start now. Folic acid makes the biggest difference if you are taking it before you conceive. Remember, home pregnancy tests (any test for that matter) is not perfect. Good luck and hopefully....congratulations!!!!

Wait a week, or longer, then test, I've had periods last as long as 45 days, and then the bleed came. The longer you wait, the more prominent the HcG will be in your urine to react with the test.

I would give it a few more days. Sometimes when you are TTC your body kind of does this stress thing and will make you believe it has conceived. Try NOT trying... and maybe it will happen. Let it happen naturally, thats usually when it does.
