Go to your local appliance store and ask for some fridge, washer/dryer and stove boxes. Cut doors and windows in them and let the kids go wild! We did this for my son's 3rd b-day and he loved it so much that we have done it every year since...and he is turning 6 this year! Set a big bucket/basket of markers and crayons on the floor beside the "houses" and let the kids color on them. It will keep them playing for hours.

If you can find one get a small swimming pool (maybe on clearance at walmart?) and fill it with balls like a ball pit. They will enjoy that too.

HAVE FUN!!

We had a balloon themed party for my 3 year old daughters. I decorated the house with lots of balloons and banners and everyone brought them a helium balloon. We ended up with about 25 helium balloons in the house but the twins loved it. We had a balloon cake and lots of party food. Played a bit of pass the parcel. Most of the kids were just happy doing their own thing playing with toys and in the play house. Not many 3 year olds like to be told what to do! Everyone had a lot of fun on the day and all the parents said how lovely it was. We went to a birthday party in the wacky warehouse a week later and it just didn't compare to our balloon party! I think I missed my calling in live... kids party planner. I think if you pick a theme and encourage the other kids to go along with it. It could be fancy dress, princesses or pirates. Whatever it is they will have a lot of fun! Enjoy!

That depends on what your child likes and if the child is a boy or girl.Parties are very easy to put together if you use the theme to what they like best.I had a Wiggles party for my 3 year old son in May.I decorated in all the colors Red Blue Yellow and Purple and then we had an air guitar contest and pin the tail on Dorothy the dinosaurs that we drew and made tails for.Its easy once you get an idea.Stick with what your 3 year old likes best be it Barbie or Blues Clues.

I recently had a Pony Party ( a real pony) for my 5 year but my 3 year old son loved it . It isn't as expensive as it sounds. It's was great they bring a pony then let the kids walk it around so it can get used to it's surroundings then they dressed it up (I got to pick a costume) and let the kids ride it all the mean time the staff are taking pitures that they send you on a disk.

Well first of all the child is to young to remembe this party but as a mother you want the best for your child, I suggest you throw a themed party such as Dora the Explorer or Bob the builder, or any other show your child likes to watch he/she would be very excited to see his favorite people in his party.

Bouncy castle if the weather holds out if not hire a scout hut or church hall & have a bouncy castle inside with a party tea & games.
You could also get an entertainer. Wotever your little one is into, you can get magicians, faries, clowns n loads of others. Usually about £50 an hour.

Children love themed parties, and parents often love planning them. I suggest going with a "Dora the Explorer" or "Cars" theme, something children will recognize. If you pick one of those there are often plates, and other party supplies to fit that theme at party supply stores (or even Wal*Mart).
If you're not into cartoons pic a color, and make everything you can that color (tablecloth, cake, etc.) Children enjoy 'noticing' that everything fits the theme.

Some cinemas have a kids party pack. They show the kids a movie and then they have a party in a play area.

You just need to pay them.
